Roles & Responsibilities
· Oversee and responsible for implementation of internal ERP
· Responsible for the full spectrum of finance and management accounting of the group and its subsidiaries which includes but not limited to strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting, timely preparation and submission of management & statutory accounts, year-end audits, corporate & tax compliance, risk management & internal controls, co secretarial matters standards
· Grant negotiations, applications, administration and management of process, KPI and claims
· Responsible for transactional accounting, General Ledger and Monthly Closing
· Assist in preparation of monthly Management Accounts and Finance Analysis
· Responsible for Accuracy of Expenses Classifications In charge and finalize Profit & Loss Account for events/courses and Account Intercompany charging and reconciliation
· Maintain good Corporate Governance, compliance to internal audits and ISO requirements
· Supervise overseas Finance team to ensure timely and accurate submission of reports and adherence to Group Accounting Policies
· In charge of finance and corporate project(s) such as system implementation, process improvement, policy and procedures to enhance corporate excellence for the organization.
· Coordinate recruitment and selection processes, job offer, internal salary benchmarking and on-boarding, advise on necessary HR procedures and policies, perform monthly payroll, CPF submission and annual income tax and all staff benefit claims
Job Requirements
· Degree in Accounting discipline or at least with ACCA certification.
· At least 6 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, 3 years in audit and 3 years in managerial/supervisory experience.
· Experience in group reporting and consolidation will be an advantage, minimally must be comfortable with mass data and multi business unit environment
· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously & prioritizing in order to meet deadlines is important
· Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, meticulous and proficiency in Microsoft software and familiar with implementation and management of ERP and future digitalization projects.
· Familiar with government grant environment and proactively negotiate with various agencies.
