The International Blue Carbon Institute (IBCI) is committed to advancing the science and support systems essential for realizing the full potential of blue carbon in combating climate change, conserving biodiversity, and providing critical support to threatened coastal communities. The Finance Manager, International Blue Carbon Institute supports financial, and administrative functions of the International Blue Carbon Institute. They manage and support financial reporting to provide management with timely and relevant financial information to make informed decisions. The Finance Manager ensures that sound donor and grant management policies and practices are adopted and implemented. They develop budgets and revenue forecasts and support the development of strategic plans as they impact operation functions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Management

· Manage the cross-cutting IBCI budget and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, working closely with finance staff in the Asia Pacific Field Division, Center for Oceans, and Center for Natural Climate Solutions. Work with program management to identify and implement follow-up actions when necessary.
