Job Description

Finance Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts, including AP/AR, P&L Statement, and Balance Sheet for the company and subsidiary.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
• Handle quarterly GST reporting to IRAS.
• Perform intercompany reconciliation of transactions and loan balances.
• Develop and implement budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Optimize cash flows, process payroll and employee claims, and handle vendor payments.
• Ensure timely financial audits, manage audit compliance, and liaise with auditors.
• Oversee company AGM, secretarial compliance, and tax filing in collaboration with tax auditors.
• Liaise with bankers and finance companies for financing matters.
• Manage grant claims.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.

HR & Administrative Responsibilities

• Oversee daily office operations to maintain a productive work environment.
• Update the HR manual and periodically review company policies.
• Prepare monthly staff payroll, CPF contributions, and related matters.
• Liaise with MOM on employment matters for foreign employees.
• Assist department heads/managers with recruitment processes.
• Prepare employees’ appointment, confirmation, promotion, and termination letters.
• Manage staff training programs and coordinate with training providers.
• Supervise building-related matters and liaise with JTC and contractors.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with contractors.

Requirements

1. Professional qualifications with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Accounting and Administrative management roles.
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, audit processes, and taxation matters.
3. Proven experience in financial planning and forecasting.
4. Proficiency in accounting software (SAGE ACCPAC preferred) and Microsoft Office suite.
5. Excellent communication skills, a team player, meticulous, and capable of working independently.
6. Ability to lead and manage the finance team effectively.
7. Experience working closely with management and department heads on contract management and financing matters.
