We are seeking a meticulous and organized Finance and HR officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support in finance and general HR operations, ensuring the efficient and smooth day-to-day functions of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Duties:

Process and verify invoices, receipts, and payments.

Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.

Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.

Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments.

Housekeeping of Directors offices

HR Duties:

Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and background checks.

Manage employee records, including contracts, leave applications, and attendance records.

Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation-related tasks accurately and timely.

Support employee relations by addressing employee queries and helping resolve HR-related issues.

Ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws and company policies.

Support performance management processes and training initiatives.

Assist with employee engagement activities to foster a positive workplace environment.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism.

Qualifications & Requirements:

ITE in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Familiarity with basic accounting principles and office administration procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and sharing of documents on icloud and google drive.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities

- Solve business problems and provide technology solutions to bank treasuries and risk departments

- Worked on Project Implementations with a hands-on approach to ensure the delivery of projects within time and quality constraints.

- Analyse existing technical infrastructure and business processes of clients and identify development needs, limitations, and gaps

- Implement Projects focused on software solutions popular in the Financial Services Industry, specifically treasury.

Professional Requirements

General Administrative Support:

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

• Diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in finance, HR, or administrative roles.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and HR software (e.g., Justlogin) is an advantage.

Job Description

You shall work under the direction of the Finance Manager. Your key responsibilities include:

Financial Management

• Responsible for finance functions including month-end and year-end closing.
• Maintain partial or full set of accounts, including audit schedules.
• Maintain full set of accounts across LCSS’s programmes and student care centres, including maintaining general ledger
• Process vendor payments and staff claims.
• Cashflow management to support operational needs.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST reports in compliance to statutory requirements.
• Ensures compliance with audit and statutory requirements.
• Reporting for government grants and funding received.
• Process donations and issue tax-deductible receipts for qualifying contributions.
• Monitor and manage fixed deposits and other investments.

Management Reporting

• Analysis of budget and year-on-year financial variances.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and annual budgeting.
• Prepare periodic management reports to support management’s decision-making.

Governance and Risk Management

• Assist in preparing board governance documentation to maintain compliance and support best practices.
• Provide administrative support for risk management activities, including organizing documentation and reporting on compliance.
• Ensure adherence to LCSS policies and statutory requirements by assisting in routine compliance checks.
• Assist in ongoing initiatives to drive improvements in business processes and corporate governance.

Administrative Support

The desired candidate should be/possess

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent relevant qualifications.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, with experience in the social services sector preferred but not necessary.
• Familiarity with Singapore Charity Accounting Standards and Corporate Governance for Charities.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including VLOOKUP functions).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates with a mid-career change and some background in finance will be considered.
