What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a Finance Intern.
In this role you will be part of the iris Finance Team. The team is responsible for the financial management and operations of the Singapore agency, and for providing commercial advice & support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks and assisting in the preparation of monthly/yearly financial and management information to aid commercial decision-making and will be key to assisting the profit growth of the business by managing financial risk and identifying opportunities. Liaising closely with the management teams you will provide them dedicated support on the commercial drivers at both an agency and client level.
Your responsibilities as a Finance Intern will be:
Accounts Payable
- Coding and checking purchase invoices
- Processing staff expenses
- Weekly payment runs
- Control and reconciliation of credit cards
- Dealing and responding to supplier queries
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Follow up and assist the Macedonia team in relation to AP related requests
- Finance admin tasks
- Cash book and bank reconciliations
- Updating monthly Prepayments schedules and journal posting
Accounts Receivable
- Sales invoicing
- Banking and reconciliation
- Follow up and assist the Macedonia team in relation to AR related requests/client billing queries
Ad Hoc
- Providing time sheet report for internal control purposes.
- Ad-hoc month end duties e.g. update balance sheet schedules.
- Providing support during the year- end audit process and completion of the Statutory Accounts
- Maconomy finance training
Who are you?
- Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Business
- Positive attitude, a team player and is meticulous
- Possess verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Excel
