The role will be a strategic business leader and key member of the leadership team for SET & CMFT businesses in APAC region. The role is responsible for improving business performance, driving profitable and sustainable growth and cash generation to add value that will guide decision making throughout the business.

The role serves as a key partner with the Controllership and FP&A functions to set the overall financial strategy, monitor/drive financial performance and maintain an effective internal controller environment.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Face of Finance

• Serve as the “face of Finance” for the Sports Medicine, Extremities & Trauma (SET) businesses in APAC (except China/HK and ANZ) markets.
• Lead country/ business unit business partnering support in areas such as commercial growth strategy, sales channel optimization, working capital management, and capital related analysis and decisions.
• Support teams with significant/ ad-hoc issues at country/ BU level, that cannot be resolved through standard operating procedures.
• Conduct Business Owners needs analysis through proactive engagement with Business Owners to understand their requirements, pain points, and goals. Conduct in-depth needs analysis to identify areas where Finance can add value and address their specific challenges.
• P&L ownership in working alongside the Business Owners and Regional Leaders to achieve the P&L targets, by developing robust driver-based top-line, resourcing, financial and ROI models and driving key operational initiatives to achieve financial business objectives.
• Build an in-depth understanding of the ZB Growth Model (including, pricing, sales channels, Working Capital management, capital decisions, M&A, etc.) and make strategic suggestions for how to prioritize and adapt growth levers to be most effective for the business.
• Work closely with FP&A function and business teams (Pricing, IBP, etc.) to forecast and manage results, improve transparency, and maintain a single source of the truth amongst all stakeholders.
• Provide business recommendations by using clear and effective presentation and communication.
• Create and communicate presentations that engage and effectively story tell, to allow stakeholders to make effective decisions.

Results Driven

• Drive accountability for business financial performance and serves as a strategic advisor to key business stakeholders.
• Review management reporting outputs with country/ cluster level business leaders (e.g., RGL, MBR, QFR, QLT, Close, Regional Reviews).
• Review and finalize long-range plan with business.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly results and communicate messages to senior management (finance and non/finance), including management reports packages, risks and opportunity assessment, business trends and make recommendations to help improve the business’ growth and profitability.

Continuous Improvement

• Continually assesses opportunities to improve BP delivery, optimize talent and leverage technology to improve efficiencies.
• Bring a continuous improvement mindset, consistently evaluating current processes/procedures and seeking opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Create, track and refine Finance KPIs into relevant key metrics to drive in-depth modeling and analysis, build and maintain KPI dashboards and reports to provide insight and transparency into performance; review these dashboards regularly with Business Owners as well as China President and flag any potential negative leading indicators for slowing growth, lagging margins or other revenue quality issues.
• Perform Financial scenario modeling and build business cases for ROI, resource allocation, price volume, etc.
• Stay informed about market and economic trends: Stay up to date with the latest trends, innovations, and best practices. Leverage this knowledge to anticipate market changes and provide valuable insights to Business Owners.

Education / Experience Requirements

Roles and responsibilities

• Supervising of overall work activities at site.

• Monitor site and ensure work progress area in accordance to drawings and schedule.

• Responsible for the installation works for workers.

• Organize work effectively and efficiently to ensure timely completion of projects by ensuring the installation works are on time/on schedule.

• Liaise with contractors/sub-contractors to ensure the project runs smoothly.

• Ensuring quality of works is achieved and safety regulations are complied with.

• Attend daily site meeting.

• Report to SPM/PM on any project updates.

Key Responsibilities:

Giro Deduction and Administration Responsibilities:

• Keep good record of all GIRO documents and filing
• Collaborate with internal departments for vendor registration form submission and other forms as required by clients
• Proactively follow-up with corporate clients and relevant departments to ensure GIRO application is successful
• Generate and maintain deduction schedules using the latest data and approved lists.
• Enter GIRO deductions into the bank portal for each corporate client.
• Prepare and provide deduction details in a format suitable for robotic process automation (RPA) for monthly application in the system.
• Send deduction breakdowns to corporate clients.
• Ensure all GIRO deductions are correctly applied in the system.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in GIRO deductions, addressing over-deductions or under-deductions due to corporate cap limits.

Refund Administration Responsibilities:

• Verify refund lists against system records to ensure accuracy and check for outstanding balances before processing refunds.
• Apply refund transactions in the system.
• Correct discrepancies in credit notes by issuing debit notes and creating accurate credit notes.

Admin fee payment responsibilities:

• Populate admin fees based on approved listing provided by operation team
• Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure data is accurate and up-to-date
• Process admin fee payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Verify payment details and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded in financial systems
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to admin fee payments promptly
• Preparation and sending of payment advice with accurate breakdowns to clinics for admin fee payments made

Other responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable receipts application into financial systems based on payment advices provided by corporate clients
• Assist in other finance operations as required and any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Description

•Manage day to day accounting functions and perform bookkeeping for AR, AP and GL

•Intercompany balances & transactions reconciliation

•Month-end closing processes including accounts closing, schedules, reconciliations and management reports
