Responsibilities

• Taking charge of projects undertaken by the Company
• Responsible for ensuring the completion, delivery and handover of projects according to respective project scope specifications and standard
• Responsible for the planning, leading and supervision of ship repair & ship building production team to ensure that works are carried out in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
• Co-ordinate with the Project Manager to lead the Operations Department to ensure efficient and productive operations in all projects
• Liaise and coordinates between other departments and ensures effective communication and seamless production workflow execution
• Discussion,advising and coordination of works with all relevant parties
• Preparation of reports as required
• Observeand maintain safety rules and regulations

Requirements

• Repairing of boiler experience is a MUST for this position, with at least min. 2 years experiences in the similar marine industry
• Team player with leadership qualities and manage the Repair Team
• Able to plan, coordinate and monitor repair activities onboard vessels
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedules
• Must be willing to travel Overseas, work odd hours , weekends and Public Holidays
• Able to deal and communicate with people effectively at all levels, identify and manage issues, cost consciousness and urgency to get things done
• Familiarity with applying Hot Work Permit, Shipyard DDO and other relevant documents pertaining to each job requirements
• Able to work on weekends based on job needs and vessels’ schedules
