Responsibilities

• Attend to daily operations team, such as installation, maintenance, replacement fabrication and repairs.
• To execute work plan and ensure job compliance to quality standards.
• Supervise and oversee the mechanical team to ahieve best operational efficiency
• Attend to ad hoc job at train and bus depots
• Responsible for personal and safety of others accordance to workplace and health safety act

Requirements

• Minimum Professional Certifications, NITEC and/ or Diploma holder with relevant experience.
• Able to perform assigned tasks physically, independently or through team activities.
• Self-motivated, highly resourceful and organized.
• Self-disciplined to carry out tasks responsibly.
• Work co-operatively in a team with other technicians to complete assigned tasks.

• Oversee the Finance Department's daily operations.
• Support cash flow control and manage the full set of accounts.
• Responsible for reviewing AP entries and payments. and approved AP payments and employee reimbursement.
• Ensure AR collections are up to date by reviewing the AR aging.
• Create monthly management reports, annual budget, and projections.
• Manage salesmen's commission computations and handle government statistics returns.
• Prepare quarterly GST filing and submit the GST.
• Ensure to review and manage the LC and BG applications.
• Carry out tax and audit schedules.
• Coordinating the annual audit with an external auditor
• Coordinate with an insurance agent for yearly coverage

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or ACCA.
• At least 4-5 years’ relevant working experience in a similar industry.
• Able to maintain a positive attitude and with analytical skills.

A market leader in the Information Technology industry is seeking a APAC Finance Director to join their fast-growing organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity in building up a fast-growing finance team from scratch, whereby you will oversee finance across the APAC region, encompassing accounting, US GAAP reporting, and analysis. Collaboration with both management and finance teams is essential for tasks like budgeting and working capital management. This also involves business partnering with commercial leaders as well for organisational strategic growth. Your responsibilities extend to leading the development of internal controls, constructing financial models, and ensuring the integrity of financial transactions. You will also provide support to various business units, implement process enhancements for financial accuracy, and stay updated with evolving financial regulations while partaking in process improvement and system implementation activities.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accountancy and Finance or be CA or CPA certified. A minimum of 10 years of relevant regional controllership experience in a US MNC is ideal. You should be comfortable being hands-on, yet have strong business partnering skills for financial strategy with the potential to manage large teams down the road.
