The Head of Finance Shared Service Centre (“FSSC”) serves as an integral part of defining and implementing strategy based on the global direction of the organization, of the FSSC team. He /she is also responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of deliverables emanating from FSSC, and to provide support and guidance to the team.

As the Head of Finance Shared Services Centre, we rely you to:

Core Functions/Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the operational performance and service standards of FSSC, which includes the functions AP, GL, AR, Credit, Income Audit and Cost Control.
• Ensures accuracy of financial data submitted, and strict adherence to the monthly, quarterly, and yearly deadlines to Hotels and to HQ.
• Provides meaningful analysis to Hotels’ financials to aid Management decision making process.
• Drives the implementation of compliance framework within FSSC to ensure adherence to the Group’s standards, including coordinating with key stakeholders outside of FSSC to achieve this.
• Drives implementation of the Group’s IT and systems roadmap involving FSSC
• Continuously structure, standardise and optimise financial processes and controls in FSSC, with the ability to sync automation into day-to-day work.
• Improving on SOPs for easy guidance and implementation
• Excellent business partner to key stakeholders such as Hotel Finance, Hotel, Regional and HQ Management.

Ideal candidates are experienced finance leaders with a proven track record of leadership in a shared services management, with a strong sense of accountability and able to work independently. Candidates with experience in the hospitality industry / a shared service environment are favored.

Working Days: Mon - Friday, 8.30am – 5.15pm

Operational Support:

• Coordinate and prioritize team activities to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
• Optimize resource utilization including manpower, equipment, and energy to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on Preventive Maintenance completion, including details on equipment lifecycle, recommended parts replacement.
• Document any parts that were replaced during PM or on Ad-Hoc Basis
• Update the equipment list monthly during the execution of Preventive Maintenance activities
• Ensure that end-end process of procurement of require Parts for maintenance is ordered.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Assist in maintaining strong relationships with customers, dealers, and distributors.
• Collaborate with the Account Manager in addressing key customer complaints and conducting satisfaction investigations to implement improvement plans.
• Conduct training sessions for technicians, customers, and dealers/distributors on the operation and maintenance of Commercial Kitchen Equipment.

Team Management:

• Assist in training technicians as necessary to meet workload demands and quality standards.
• Supervise and manage a team of service technicians and in-house subcontractors.

Contract Management:

• Support in managing contract commitment in terms of KPI (Critical Equipment Reliability; CM Completion Rate; PM Completion Rate, Emergency Response SLA; Hygiene Audit; Compliance to Fire Safety, WSH, GRA and Security Access Requirement; Service Quality Survey).

Health, Safety, and Compliance:

• Drive EH&S initiatives, promote EHS awareness, and monitor compliance within the team.

Performance Metrics:

• Collaborate with the Account Manager to track and improve KPIs such as productivity, field expenses, and Aftermarket Service Sales revenue/margins.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

JOB SUMMARY

He / She will be responsible for supervising, coaching and coordinating activities of the food servers as well as looking into the comfort and dining experience of guests. He / She will also handle guests’ complaints during the absence of the manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Open and close shifts in accordance with the manager’s checklists.
2. Train, maintain, and enforce all Marriott service standards through the use of used records, menus, and appropriate training and reference materials.
3. Supervise and coach all associates in accordance with Marriott's training program.
4. To ensure enough staffing for the operation.
5. To ensure smooth operation in all areas.
6. To ensure proper cashiering and billing procedures are adhered to.
7. To help the assistant manager in generating all necessary micros reports for outlets.
8. To supervise closing checklist for bartenders.
9. To conduct opening inventory and closing inventory of wines.
10. To ensure accuracy of associates’ float money stored in the safe deposit box.
11. Check and oversee cashiers’ closing duties and ensure accuracy.
12. Ensure efficient scheduling and represent the outlets for all day-to-day operations.
13. Responsible for updating Leaves / PH / MC of all associates daily.
14. To conduct 15 minutes training for all associates on a daily basis.
15. Maintain all S.O.P. and L.S.O.P.
16. To conduct a proactive preventive maintenance inspection on a monthly basis.
17. Promote inter-departmental relations through candid communications channels.
18. To keep managers informed should there be a shortage of manpower. To carry out instructions effectively, monitor the staff progress, and pass any information regarding the operations to the manager at all times.
19. To be always on the floor during operation hours, to assist the hostess in seating the guests whenever required, and to check on guest satisfaction on a regular basis.
20. To take charge of assignment planning and schedule associates for their meal breaks.
21. Check on the cleanliness of the restaurant area and side stations and do weekly inspections with the manager.
22. Understand and teach empowerment principles to ensure guests’ satisfaction.
23. To LEAD BY EXAMPLE and have a “hands-on” approach to motivate our associates to excel.
24. Maintain fair consistent counseling and/or disciplinary procedures in accordance with Marriott Guarantee Fair treatment.
25. Monitor hours, and staff overtime on a daily basis for restaurants as it relates to sales and profits.

28. Cash/Bank Handling:

• Process all payment methods in accordance with Accounting procedures and policies.
• Follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures (e.g., blind drops).
• Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
• Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies, obtaining change required for expected business level, and keeping bank secure at all times.
• Transport bank to/from assigned workstation, following security procedures.
• Set up and organize cashier workstation with designated supplies, forms, and resource materials; and maintain cleanliness of workstation at all times.
• To ensure and follow established procedures and compliance as per LSOP guidelines.

29. Any other duties may be assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum GCE 'O' levels and/or Diploma in Hotel Management.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

• Monitor bank balances, manage payments, and coordinate with banks on financing and foreign exchange as required.

6. Financial Operations and Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve financial efficiency, reporting accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
• Leverage financial technologies to streamline processes and support faster reporting.

7. Team Leadership and Collaboration

• Supervise junior finance staff, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., Sales, Operations) to align financial processes and support cross-functional objectives.

8. Ad-hoc Financial Support

• Provide financial analysis for ad-hoc projects and business decisions as required by management.
• Participate in strategic initiatives by providing financial perspectives and data-driven insights.

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related discipline; professional certifications such as CPA/CA are preferred but not required.
• Min 5 years of relevant experience in finance, specifically within the retail sector.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and retail-specific financial controls.
• Proven ability to handle full-spectrum accounting, including AP, AR, and financial reconciliation.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and deliver insights.

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced ERP Manager to oversee the implementation and optimization of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Microsoft Business Central, in the Finance department. This role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure a seamless deployment while supporting the Finance team with ongoing ERP management and day-to-day workload distribution.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Implementation and Management

Qualifications

Experience
