Job Description:

• Supervise the finance team in financial accounting and corporate reporting. This will include preparation of accurate and timely management accounts and variance analysis, and annual statutory financial statements and disclosure notes.
• Maintain accurate journal entries and allocations. Reconcile accounts and provide analysis for the organisation’s financial transactions
• Work/ liaise with other corporate and business departments on revenue and cost allocations/ recoveries for profit/ cost centres reporting
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in consolidation and financial reporting, preferably in listed companies and/or real estate sector

• Excellent team worker with strong communication, people-management and organisation skills
• Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
• Proficient in Excel and Power point

Key Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from your immediate superior.
• Manage daily operations related to customer order entries and delivery arrangements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and the transportation team regarding delivery plans.
• Monitor and order supplies to maintain suitable inventory levels.
• Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities.
• Verify the accuracy of orders, bills, received items, inventory, and deliveries.
• Maintain inventory records, report relevant information, and prepare necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with basic maintenance standards and health and safety regulations.
• Conduct daily inspections of the warehouse grounds.
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments and customers.
• Load and unload steel drums from trucks, trailers, and the warehouse as needed.
• Support the night shift from the 16th to the 31st, rotating with another Assistant Logistics Supervisor. Arrange early coverage with the other supervisor if urgent matters arise.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
