Finance Manager
Our client is seeking a professional to serve as a Finance Manager to support the CEO. The role involves oversee the finance team on the operation and providing strategic support to management and budget holders by proactively monitoring financial activities, managing financial reporting specific to the organization, and clearly communicating analysis results.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the finance department.
- Manage the finance team.
- Handle all finance-related matters for both the Group and local entities.
- Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to the holding company.
- Implement and ensure compliance with Group accounting policies.
- Oversee the preparation of the annual business budget.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents regarding year-end audits and tax issues.
- Develop and manage the forex hedging plan, liaise with bankers for hedging contracts, and handle other treasury matters.
- Work with the company secretary on secretarial issues.
- Ensure regulatory reporting, including GST, income tax filings, Mandatory Packaging Reporting, and annual returns in XBRL format.
- Manage loan-related matters with bankers.
- Review legal contracts.
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop business strategies and plans.
- Work closely with the CEO on business planning and take ownership of financial presentations.
- Effectively manage expenses, working capital, and cash flow, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
- Create and manage financial models.
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including managing the in-house accountant, evaluating current workflows, and implementing policies to enhance efficiency and internal control. Liaise with outsourced accounting firms to ensure statutory compliance.
- Establish and manage the FP&A framework to drive performance management and planning. This includes identifying Key Performance Indicators, analyzing performance variances, and recommending solutions to achieve or exceed targets.
- Collaborate with various departments on short-term and long-term planning, including periodic forecasting and annual budgeting. Conduct financial projections on new business initiatives, assess risks and opportunities, and recommend viable operating plans.
- Maintain relationships with external auditors and address their findings and recommendations.
- Perform any other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Audit experience and a background in a manufacturing environment (such as FPC, PCB, or PCBA) are highly preferred.
- Strategic thinking capabilities.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing environments.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and development within the Finance function.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Excellent management and mentoring abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance and CPA certification required.
- Knowledge of IFRS and China GAAP.
- Over 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Willingness to travel 20%-35% of the time.
