Responsibilities
Finance Consolidation
- To perform monthly consolidation for the company’s global operations, including subsidiaries and joint ventures (using Oracle Financial Consolidation and Cloud Close)
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues for users experiencing errors with the consolidation software
Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare monthly group report for management review, including performing variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
- Ensure all inter-company balances are reconciled timely within the group and in compliance
- Provide guidance, address queries, review and approve month end reporting submitted by accountants for entities under HQ (2 entities)
- Support the finance teams in the preparation of annual financial statements, external audit requirements and tax filing with regulators
- Organize and coordinate the redistribution of portfolios among team members and external providers
Process Improvements
- Continuously improve and optimize our financial workflows and conventions leveraging technology and automation where possible
- Develop and implement best practices for financial consolidation and reporting processes
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data through continuous monitoring and review of consolidation processes
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in finance, with a focus on consolidation and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
- Experience in a global or multinational environment, venture capital or investment/ asset management industry would be a plus
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, Oracle Netsuite would be a big plus
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and regions
