What you'll be doing

• Analyse and design solutions for Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) systems and processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to KYC/AML operations
• Perform system testing, configuration, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of KYC/AML applications
• Develop and document standard operating procedures, user guides, and training materials
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices in KYC/AML compliance
• Proficiency in firewall, network, and security concepts to draft system diagrams and raise firewall connectivity
• Techno-functional skillset who can design technical solutions and operational processes

What we're looking for

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Solid 8-10 yrs experience in Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, SQL and database management is Must
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience in middleware (Apache, Jboss, and Maria database) installation, configuration and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of KYC and AML regulations, processes, and systems
• Proficiency in analysing requirements, designing solutions, and implementing system enhancements
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison officer with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)
• Assist with all regulatory submissions, surveys and questionnaires
• Ensure ongoing compliance for a Capital Markets Services (CMS) License Holder
• Assist with the onboarding and periodic reviews of investors
• Handle internal and external audit matters
• Assist with the update and maintenance of compliance registers (i.e., personal share dealing, conflicts of interests etc.) and internal policies and procedures
• Assist in the preparation of Board meeting materials and presenting to the Board on operations and compliance matters
• Perform annual outsourcing due diligence reviews for outsourced service providers
• Assist in the monthly review of investors’ risk management checklists
• Assist to plan the Firm’s annual business continuity test
• Work closely with and liaise with an external compliance consultant in matters relating to regulatory compliance.
• Ensure proper record keeping and support the Firm in all tasks related to operations

Requirements:

• Degree in Business or any related disciplines.
• Candidate should have at least 3 years of risk/operations and/or compliance experience in a financial services/asset management industry.
• Good understanding of MAS regulatory requirements;

Who We Need

The Senior / Systems Analyst is responsible for the daily operations of the various IT applications. He/ She provides after office support in the event of any IT applications failure. He/She develops new IT applications or enhances existing applications as assigned by the HOD, Technology Applications.

The responsibilities are as stated below:

• To keep up with developments in the computer industry.
• Familiar with the hospital’s operations and recommends solutions that meet the requirement of the affected department.

• Understand the business processes and work with users to design and develop an end-to-end solution.
• Provide advice and assistance to business users in the effective use of application system and information technology.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience/knowledge in Scrum /DevOps concepts
• Experience/knowledge in the various technologies supporting CI/CD such as GitLab, Confluence, JIRA, SonarQube
• Experience/Knowledge in Cloud, microservices architecture and container technologies such Docker, Kubernetes
• To have a keen interesting in IT / programming / system designs
• Good understanding of SDLC.
• Secure coding to prevent application vulnerabilities (for eg. Cross-site scripting; Injection vulnerability flows such as SQL injection, command injection; Race conditions; Improper error / exception handling etc)
• Application integration with government services such as CorPass, SingPass.
• A Pass in ICT Assessment Certification for Solution Architect or Software Developer by NUS-ISS is required

- Partner with front office in GFM as a Business Manager to drive solutions, improve procedures/infrastructure for the Variable Capital Company (VCC) business and implement end to end systematically captured workflows. These include pre-trade compliance checks, order management, trading, investment operations, risk management/compliance/oversight, closed-book accounting, or performance measurement & attribution

- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers/brokers for the setup and maintenance of trading accounts and with Fund Administrators and Custodians to

support fund events, asset transfers and month end reporting

- Initiate negotiations and management of external service contracts with vendors to ensure that service level agreements are being met along with instigate RFP’s and due diligence on new vendors/service providers are done periodically per contract end

- Provide secretariat support for VCC related committee meetings including preparation of presentation materials

- Review and work with business and support units to ensure VCC’s compliance with regulatory requirements, including maintenance of registers and records (i.e. for investors and VCC directors)

- Support and coordinate with relevant parties on operational risk reporting, tax/regulatory filings, audit, insurance related matters, etc
