The Role

The Sustainable and Green Finance Institute (SGFIN) is a new university-level research institute in the National University of Singapore (NUS), jointly supported by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and NUS. With extensive experience under the belt, especially with working with multiple financial applications, handling critical issues, and laising with external vendors. You will be taking up an collaborative and self-motivated role within the team.

You will be responsible for handling applications and incidents in the 'Central' team, being the front liner to handle L1 - L3 incidents for front office & post trade applications and handling up to 2500 USER BASE . For this role, it is necessary that you have experience handling MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS at a time, and are able to take lead and prioritize tasks.

Your Duties:

• Provide support for all Trading & Back Office Platforms to both internal client base
• Support of Business users offering L2 - L3
• Liaising with external vendors to manage vendor system upgrades and implementation
• Knowledge of scripting language (PowerShell) or Python/Java
• Provide incident management per ITIL standards.

Your ESSENTIAL Key skills and Technologies:

• Minimum 8 years of experience within application support
• Are able to confidently handle multiple applications, major incidents, critical issues, and deal with external clients.
• 'MUST HAVE' Advance Technical skills: PowerShell OR Structured Language (Java or Python), AND SQL
• Windows, Linux/Unix OS
• Incident management, change management
• Able to prioritize tasks and balance with project work.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices to support client engagements.
• Analyze data and prepare reports to support sustainability strategies and solutions.
• Assist in preparing sustainability reports.
• Ensure reports are in compliance with local and international sustainability standards.
• Facilitate communication with clients to ensure timely completion of engagements.
• Keeping abreast with global and regional sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Any other adhoc tasks as and may be assigned.
