Responsibilities

· Design, develop and implement solution architecture for software projects on top of YugaByte DB.

· Help end-users with evaluating both YugaByte DB and various other open-source technologies.

· Advise users and customers on a wide range of topics such as app architecture, deployment paradigms, ecosystem integration best practices and more to make optimal use of YugaByte DB.

· Work with our community users to understand their needs and ensure their success by developing reusable tools and frameworks.

· Work closely with our sales team to develop the requisite libraries and best-practices to ensure smooth and successful Proof-of-Value.

Skills/Requirement

· B.A. / B.S. or equivalent work experience

· 5+ years of software development experience

· Working knowledge and ability to code with modern languages (e.g. Java, Python, Node.js, C/C++, Java, C#)

· Working knowledge of SQL and ability to model use cases on SQL databases.

As a Technical Engineer and Consultant, you will be playing a hybrid role at OTRS ASIA:

on the one hand, you’re holding a decisive role as an expert in our technical support team – you are an important go-to-person for service requests and support OTRS customers as a competent point of contact and solution finder. On the other hand, you will be implementation consultant and “face to the customer” – for example, you will conduct remote and on-site technical workshops and take care of issues such as installation, migration and web service design. This is you:

• Preferably, you are living in Singapore (with valid residency status) or at least the Singaporean time zone.
• You speak business-fluent English. Mandarin, Malay or other regional spoken languages are a plus.
• You have a college degree or apprenticeship in computer science / IT sector (e.g. in the area of system integration, IT management or similar).
• You are familiar with web services and have knowledge of XSLT, XML and HTML.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be the technical point of contact for our clients and internal stakeholders. You will become an expert on our advertising solutions, consult with clients on best practices and resolve any technical issues that come your way. Technical Solutions Consultants are curious by nature, comfortable working in ambiguous situations, and love coming up with creative solutions to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build technical expertise in organization’s various advertising products (signal, measurement, and delivery) and provide consultative guidance to clients and partners on best practices and bespoke setups
• Resolve technical issues stemming from our client's usage of organization’s advertising solutions
• Partner closely with the Sales teams to resolve client issues, prioritize, and build market or vertical plans for technical services

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS in Marketing, Computer Science, or related degree
• 3+ years’ experience in the Digital Advertising and/or Technology industries
• Knowledge of Advertising Technology ecosystem
• Customer-facing experience translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical audiences
• Experience with technically troubleshooting advertising technologies such as pixels, ad servers, auctions, and delivery
• Experience working with web technologies including, but not limited to: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP
• Experience working with SQL and RESTful APIs
