• Manage and develop a team of individual contributor roles with low to high complexity and risk
• Provide end-to-end investigative support via reviews and approvals for the APAC GFIU to meet regulatory financial crimes and SAR/STR filing obligations

• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
• Provide thoughtful independent credible challenge internally to supported lines of business, across other Corporate Risk programs, and across the enterprise
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers (local and international)
• Manage communication and collaboration with business heads, Legal, Audit, and regulators on risk related topics
• Apply fraud / AML investigational knowledge to maintain the appropriate control and risk mitigation framework across multiple jurisdictions
• Manage high risk processes associated with SAR regulatory requirements, transaction monitoring, Proprietary Watchlists
• Maintain a working relationship with international stakeholders and local law enforcement authorities
• Support control framework design by maintaining process consistency and escalating concerns or issues

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, Corruption experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education;

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Document Review:Support underwriters in reviewing insurance documents and applications.
   Process applications and assess acceptance or rejection based on company guidelines.
   
2. Underwriting Support:Assist with underwriting a variety of insurance products.
   Manage triaging of inquiries and preparation of underwriting information.
   
3. Compliance:Ensure adherence to internal and external regulations and guidelines.

Mandatory:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in any of these faculties: Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis ,Science (Computer Studies)
• At least 12+ years of experience in Information Technology arena with demonstrated experience around strategic planning, enterprise architecture preferably in banking & financial services, risk management and software engineering.
• Experienced in leading technical design from inception to proof of concept
• Good knowledge of strategic IT solutions and hands-on experience in software development.
• A strong understanding of latest programming languages including Python, Java, Rust and Go
• Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures, with strong fundamentals in complexity analysis
• Experience in platform and/or product definition, operating model and change management
• Strong ability to analyze code – understand execution flow & debug even
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, MLOps and tooling

Good to Have

• Understanding of trade life cycle, financial products (Treasury, FX, Bonds, Credit, IRD…)
• Exposure to Capital Market FO/BO system

Requirements:

• Preferably 1 year of working experience in accounting, audit, corporate or individual insolvency and/or restructuring space.
• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy and/or ACCA // Business Administration or equivalent

Jobs Scope:

• Preparation of documents for conflict checks.
• Liaising with clients on the documents required.
• Performing an analysis on the historical and current financial performance of the clients.
• Performing a review of historical transactions.
• Investigating the cause of the insolvency.
• Assisting in the preparation of cash flow projections and assessing the validity of the assumptions adopted, taking into account the liquidity constraints / requirements of the client.
• Liaising with government bodies such as CPFB, IRAS, MOM and CPFB.
• Liaising with various stakeholders in the administration of various forms of corporate insolvency and restructuring engagements (such as judicial management, liquidation and receivers and managers) including dealing with creditors’ queries, recovering and realizing assets and fulfilling the statutory obligations of the administrators.
• Familiarising themselves with the prevailing insolvency laws.
• Assisting the Directors and Managers on the administrative aspect of the engagements such as time reporting, preparation of the Bill of Cost, documentation tracking etc.
