Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve service level.
• Manage operations of workshop.
• Estimate costs and time required for repair or maintenance of the vehicle.
• Educate and instruct mechanic to learn mechanic skills.
• To test and confer with customers to obtain description of vehicle problems and discuss the necessary work to be performed.
• Check the activities in the workshop, inspect completed work and draft reports to detect recurrent faults.
• Plan, organize and coordinate the day-to-day running of the workshop. E.g.Writing work orders (Job sheet) and arranging mechanic to perform maintenance and repair work on vehicles.
• Able know how to use diagnostic tools.
• Able to troubleshoot when problems of car arise.
• Ensure that the vehicle is returned to the owner in a clean condition.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
