Requirements

•  7-10 years experience mandate in Financial Lines underwriting
•  Excellent level of knowledge and understanding for all Financial Lines product including D&O, PI, Crime, Medmal and FI
•  S.E.A Financial Lines market experience is preferred
•  Proven track record of business development and excellence on achieving profitable revenue growth
•  Relationship Management: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with country underwriters, head office, distribution partners such as brokers, agents, and intermediaries. Track record of effectively managing key accounts, negotiating terms and conditions, and delivering exceptional service to clients
•  Risk Assessment Skills: Strong analytical and critical and logical thinking skills to assess risks accurately, identify potential exposures, and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies. Strong rationale and creativeness to develop new products and coverages by local market needs . Experience in conducting thorough risk inspections and effectively communicating risk-related information to stakeholders
•  Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective
• interaction with internal teams, external partners, and clients. Especially interaction with local team is critical.
• Collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with colleagues in product development, claims, and other departments to deliver comprehensive solutions and support to clients

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proactively investigate, negotiate and resolve claims regardless of its complexity.
• Provide technical expertise to the Financial Line claims team in Asia.
• Ensure claims are handled within authority limits and in adherence with internal guideline.
• Understanding of relevant legal processes and procedures and litigation management.
• To manage brokers, clients and relevant stakeholders
• To negotiate and deal with contentious situations

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree holder
• Legal background is an advantage
• Direct experience in handling different classes of Financial Lines/Casualty claims
• 5-7 years related working experience
• Strong knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes
• Experience in handling legal cases
• Able to work independently

Role and Responsibilities

As an Analyst, you will be involved in a wide range of projects, including:

• Work with team leads to provide high-quality, professional day-to-day execution engagements

and projects in line with the firm's risk management practices for clients across a wide range

of industries.

• Analyzing large and disparate data to support or refute the facts and allegations of disputes,

investigations, and litigations.

• Work as a team member and contribute to AML projects which includes data preparation,

• Contributing to impactful recommendations on clients’ operating models, including people,

Requirements

• A university degree in accounting, computer science, information management or related skills

• Demonstrable experience and fluency in three or more of the following technical areas are essential:-

• Strong data manipulation and analysis skills (e.g. SQL, R, Python, Hive, SAS).

• Experience with industry standard RDMS (eg. Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).

• Database design and development (ie. Microsoft SQL Server or IBM DB2).

• Data loading and ETL solutions (ie. Microsoft SSIS or IBM DataStage ).

• Reporting and data visualisation tools (eg. Microsoft SSRS, Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview, D3).

• Scripting or programming experience (eg. C#, VB.net, Java, Python).

• Experience of text analytics through use of taxonomies, concept searching, machine learning and/or clustering.

• Strong conceptual, analytical, and critical thinking with the ability to dive deep into analytics while also contributing to larger strategic discussions.

• A “can do” attitude with the sense of urgency and the confidence to build problem-solving partnerships with clients and colleagues and set and manage aggressive goals for self and others.
