DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversight of Financial Lines product offering (D&O, EPL, PI, PTL, Fidelity, Cyber)
• Lead the International regions in the implementation of the strategies within the agreed business plan.
• Ensure portfolio’s performance satisfies business' Underwriting Business Plan.
• Ensure appropriate levels of underwriting authority are delegated and upheld for each international underwriting leader and cascaded appropriately.
• Oversee that FL business added and retained within the portfolio is accretive to overall profit performance.
• Maintain strategy for reinsurance protection, aligned with business plans, for approval by the underwriting leadership.
• Monitor accumulations and aggregations against international business plans and reinsurance treaties and take any necessary corrective action.
• Maintain a close working relationship with internal stakeholders (Claims, Actuarial, Operations, BDM)
• Develop existing and new distribution channels in Asia Pacific region
• Handling Financial Lines underwriting referrals from across the region to ensure consistency in risk selection
• Work closely with managers and underwriters within the Asia Pacific team to grow the portfolio successfully and profitably
• Work with Senior Management and Human Resources to develop organizational capability and identity, recruit and develop people to drive its long-term ambitions.

QUALIFICATIONS
