Job Descriptions

a) Report and assist Project Manager (PM) on Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) related project functions included but not limited to project management, site management, risk control management etc. to meet the project(s) goals.

b) Assist Project Manager in E&M works including supply, delivery, diversion, modification, installation, testing and commissioning and handing over of all electrical installations, mechanical works, and other facilities for the project, in accordance to the master and detailed work program.

c) Prepare, plan and submit project related documents, such as schedules, method statement, design plan, risk assessment, monthly report, etc.

d) To supervise the execution of E&M works and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with contract specification/bills of quantities, construction drawings, company’s quality standards, Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) practices and all other contract document.

e) To coordinate and liaise with Client’s representatives, relevant Authorities, Consultant, Subcontractors, Suppliers, etc. on all E&M aspects and need be, to provide all technical and non-technical resolutions followed by documentation.

f) Liaise with client or consultant for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports and ensure necessary records are maintained at site. Assist Contract department (QS) in verifying progress payments and claims from Contractors.

g) Attend regular meetings with Client’s Representative, Consultants and/or Contractors and ensure the progress is on schedule.

h) Establish proper and effective document control system, maintain & conduct reviews of detail design drawings, project documents and specifications.

i) Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.

Job Requirements:

· Degree in Electrical Engineering (Recognised by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB)

· At least 3 of working experience in the construction industry.

Job Description:

• Design and build advanced applications for ubuntu platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycles such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Document, Design Specification, Interface.
• Specifications, Source Codes, Testing Specification, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Training Manual and others documents as required in the standard adopted by the Authority.
• Liaise with stakeholders on the requirement, design and testing issues.
• Design and develop software applications for embedded devices.
• Implement and optimize communication protocols (e.g.TCP/IP, HTTPS, FTPS/SFTP, MQTT-S) to establish secure and reliable connections between embedded devices and on-premises/cloud platforms.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging and troubleshooting of embedded devices to identify and resolve issues related to functionality, connectivity, performance and reliability.
• Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Document, Design Specification, Interface Specifications, Source Codes, Testing Specification, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Training Manual and others documents as required in the SDLC processes.
• Assist day-to-day application support issues.
• Liaise with users on the requirement testing and production issues.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering/ Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience software development and system integration
• Experiences in C++ application development on Embedded platforms (e.g. QNX, Vxworks, Embedded Linux).
• Knowledge or work experiences in the following areas is an added advantage.
• Experience in writing Requirements Specification, Use Cases, Design Documentation, and designing software using object oriented software design and UML modelling.
• Java application development, Web application using HTML/HTML5, JavaScript and JavaScript Framework (i.e. AngularJS, ExtJS, JQuery, Bootstrap).
• Interfacing with database (i.e. MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL) using ODBC/JDBC and SQL
• Multi-tier software architecture design and implementation, Object-oriented software design and UML modelling.
• Virtualization using Containerisation (e.g. docker).
• Applications development and deployment for Desktops/ Workstations Commercial Cloud (e.g. AWS).
• AWS Lambda Functions using Python or JavaScript.
• Single Sign-on solutions (e.g. OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML).
• Establish understanding in communication (e.g. MQ, MQTT, SFTP, FTP-S).
