Site Engineer / Project Engineer

Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager in daily site operation.

• Prepare Daily Report and submission.

• Prepare work Inspection Checklist and submission.

• Prepare materials request and arrange for delivery.

• Prepare request for fabrication.

• Receive and verify materials delivered and record GDN and DO.

• Update drawings and drawing register, receipt and issue of drawings.

• Ensure all documented records are properly filed.

• Organize the project site and other places of work so that all operations are carried out to the required standards with the minimum of risk to men, equipment and materials.

• Plan and maintain a tidy construction site.

• Arrange the delivery and stacking of material in such a manner as to avoid increasing the risks involved by double handling.

• Implement arrangements with sub-contractors and other contractors on the project site to avoid any confusion about areas of responsibility.

• Ensure that periodic tests, inspections and maintenance work are being carried out.

• Ensure that all repair and maintenance work carried out on the project site is done in a proper manner.

• Ensure that correct procedures and system of work are being developed and maintained.

• Attend promptly to all notified plant defects or bring to the attention of the relevant Foreman the need for Dangerous plant to be put out of service.

• Manage & Comply with Workplace Safety & Health for project execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent

• Minimum 4 years of site experience in construction field is preferred.

• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.

Resident Engineer (RE-C&S)

a. Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a Civil & Structural Engineer, with at least 5 years in supervising works on projects of similar size and complexity, particularly major building construction and deep excavation works.

b. Qualifications:
Must possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.

c. Accreditation:
Accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.

d. Responsibilities:

• Lead the C&S site staff to monitor, supervise, and inspect works as directed by CAG, QP(S), QP(Geo), project consultants.
• Exhibit strong leadership qualities, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills.

e. Knowledge:

• Be conversant with statutory codes and site supervision requirements, quality control procedures, construction administration, and submission of progress reports.

f. Skills:

• Demonstrate strong supervision and leadership abilities.

g. Flexibility:

• Must be willing to work shifts.

A. Main Responsibilities

1.Responsible for all on-site technical and engineering matters.

2.Ensure works carried out meet company’s quality standards & contractual requirements.

3.Involved in project planning, monitoring project progress and schedule.

Including prepare work plan, schedule, preparation all the related work procedure/method statement, job safety analysis, technical clarification , resources management and procurement arrangement .

4.To co-ordinate with the client, consultant, sub-contractors on all project aspects and need be, to provide all technical and non-technical resolutions followed by documentation.

Include attending all progress meeting.

5.Assisting Project Manager in monthly progress claims and monthly progress reports.

6.Ensuring supervisors, foremen, workers and sub-con meets client & regulatory work requirements.

7.Ensuring Environmental, Safety and Health practices are carried out at all times.

8.Other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time

Job Description

• Engage in assessment, planning, design, and implementation of core network solutions, focusing on data engineering, including routing/switching, security (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet), Wireless/RF (Cisco, Aruba), micro-segmentation (ISE/Clearpass), SD-WAN, Data Center SDA (ACI/NSX), and automation (Ansible, Python).
• Design, deploy, document, and support medium to large-scale network projects.
• Work with cutting-edge technologies and support network migrations involving Cisco Cat 9000, Nexus, ISR, and ASR routers.
• Develop high-level and low-level designs for new builds and data center/site migrations.
• Execute migration plans within scheduled windows, including after-hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in financial or telecom industries with expertise in network design and implementation with hands-on experience with Arista Networks solutions.
• Proven expertise in Data Center networking, including design, implementation, and optimization.
• Proficient in routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and WAN technologies (MPLS/VPLS).
• Strong experience in complex data, voice, video, and WLAN network environments.
• Broad knowledge of DHCP/DNS, TACACS/RADIUS, and VPN preferred.
