Develop and maintain software applications using C, C++, and Unix/Linux-based environments.

Write efficient, scalable, and well-documented code to optimize system performance.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex system and application issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.

Utilize shell scripting and other Unix utilities for automation and system management.

Responsibilities:-

• Conduct QAQC daily checks
• Prepare monthly QAQC report for submission to Corporate QAQC Department
• Conducting monthly QAQC Training to Sub-contractors
• Issuance of QAQC Non-compliance to sub-contractors
• Attend monthly QAQC presentation and meeting at Corporate QAQC Department

Job Requirements:

• Architectural-trained or Structural-trained work experience
• Min 3 years experience

Scope of work requested for the services is to provide system support (level 1/2) to manage Government agency servers. It includes the following:

1. Incident Management

a. Monitoring new incidents

b. Working on incidents assigned

c. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues

d. Timely follow-up and closure of incidents

e. Updating and resolving incidents status in ITSM system

2. Service Request Fulfilment

a. Monitoring of new service request (SR)

b. Work on SR assigned

c. Setup and configure new systems

d. Hardening of OS and applications

e. Timely follow-up and closure of SR

f. Updating SR status in ITSM System and closure of SR

g. Updating Asset Management team on asset issued / returned

3. Monthly Patching

a. Patching of systems

b. Testing upon completion of patching

4. 24 x 7 standby support

a. 24 x 7 standby support and to go onsite as and when required

5. Daily health check / Escort vendor

a. Daily health check and submission of daily health check report

b. Escort vendor when request are raised

6. Other tasks

a. Conduct any other tasks as required of a system engineer role

6 PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS

6.1 The Contractor’s support personnel managing the servers must be trained and minimally be proficient in the following areas:

Windows Server

(a) The System Engineer shall minimally possess the following requirement:

(i) At least three (3) years of experience in Microsoft Server administration;

and

(ii) Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA);

Details of working hours

Monday to Thursday - 8.30am to 6pm

Friday - 8.30am to 6.00pm

* Design and discuss your own solution for addressing user stories and tasks

* Develop and unit-test,

* Integrate, deploy, maintain, and improve software

* Perform peer code review

* Actively participate into the sprint activities and ceremonies e.g., daily stand-up/scrum meeting, Sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.

* Apply continuous integration best practices in general (SCM, build automation, unit testing, dependency management)

* Collaborate with other team members to achieve the Sprint objectives

* Report progress/update Agile team management tools (JIRA/Confluence)

* Manage individual task priorities and deliverables.

* Responsible for quality of solutions that he/she provides

* Contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities, Support the PO, Analyst and Scrum master

* Knowledge and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair working, Automated Testing, Agile Games

* Hands on experience working with APIs and microservices, integrating external and internal web services including SOAP, XML, REST, JSON

* Hands on experience in Google Cloud Platform Services like Compute Engine, Cloud load balancing, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud deployment Manager, Terraform.

* Experience in set-up, maintenance, and ongoing development of continuous build/ integration infrastructure as a part of DevOps. Create and maintain fully automated CI build processes and write build and deployment scripts.

* Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment.

* Familiar with Agile Team management tools (JIRA, Confluence)

· Min 3 to 5 yrs experience Rancher, AWS EKS, including cluster creation, configuration, and management

· Min. 3 yrs exp Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI

· Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation

· API Gateway Engineering,

· Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

· Configuration management using tools like Terraform, Puppet or Ansible.

· You have experience in running production systems utilizing microservices and distributed systems architecture at scale
