• Provide support in incident, request, change and problem management related to database operations.
• Provide oncall support, including outside of office hours, and participate in Major incidents.
• Ensure SLA for incidents and service requests are met with high quality of work.
• Ensure KPIs, such as breach case target, MTTR and escalation target is met.
• Install and upgrade database systems, apply patches and implement changes when required.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors ensuring high availability of database systems.
• Manage databases access, backups and ensure compliance to database and security standards.
• Monitor database performance proactively and perform analysis of cases to prevent recurring issues.
• Review and enhance database monitoring when required.
• Develop processes and operation procedures related to database operations.
• Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
• Perform capacity planning and participate in Disaster Recovery drill.
• Provide global support for sites in North America and Asia, including on weekends and holidays.
• Perform changes on critical databases related to manufacturing and engineering.
• Collaborate with site customers on new database requirements, problem resolution and data flow requests.
• Performance tuning of databases to ensure high performance and availability.
• Engineer solutions and automations to improve productivity and efficiency of database operations and reliability and availability of the database systems.
• Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
• Participate in worldwide collaboration for technical sharing and reference architecture alignment.

Job Description & Requirements:

Due to an increase in our service activities in our service department, we are looking for a qualified Engineers in the feild of automation or Instrumentation for marine vessels.

1. Experience in shipyard and marine vessels.

2. Experience in servicing of vessel automation systems.

E.g. Tank gauging, gauges, transmitters, valve positioner, etc.

3. Ability to work both independently and as part of team.

4. Able to travel to regional countries.
5. Good communication skills.

6. Class 3 driving licence (prefer).
