• Recognized Degree by BCA in Civil Engineering.

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design of the electrical system and electrical system inspection. He/She manages a team of technical supervisors and manages the project timeline. He/She works indoors, outdoors and occasionally, in cramped spaces. He/She will have to stand for long hours, climb, bend and kneel on-site for inspection and project coordination. Reporting to the Service Supervisor, in this role you will be part of a National team of Field Service Engineers providing a prompt and effective service to customers within the Water, Power, Petrochemical and other associated Industries.  

In this role you will identify faults, repair, test and modify actuators in the field, carry out planned and preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical installations of actuators and associated retrofit adaption of components, pedestals and drive shafts and completing accurate and technical site visit reports for each job.

This role would suit a determined problem-solver, who can think logically for troubleshooting issues and has the willingness to travel.

The Salary Range for this position $48K to $55K Per Annum.

Job Description:

• General / Electrical Failure Analysis Engineer
• Perform failure analysis using various tools and instruments such as Lock-In Thermography, OBIRCH/PEM, 2D/3D X-ray and CSAM;
• Perform sample preparation (parallel lapping, delayering, decapsulation) using FIB, SEM/EDX and other preparation techniques;
• Communicate with customer for selecting proper analytical technique and data interpretation;
• Prepare analytical reports;
• Document new failure analysis operating procedures, training and certification specs;
• Participate/assist in new failure analysis techniques development;
• Perform routine instrument preventive maintenance and laboratory housekeeping;

Job Requirements:

In this position, you will have a unique opportunity to be involved in POP Infrastructure design, Space & Power related critical infrastructure projects and be involved in all aspects of Networking.

Responsibilities:

• Execute regional space, power, cabling and other infrastructure requirements in support of Edge network requirements, present and future.
• Design/Plan new site electrical/mechanical critical infrastructure for Data Center sites.
• Work with Engineers and design and draw layout of Edge/POP sites floor plans, allocate space assigned to network function, optical, backbone, IP, compute, etc.
• Execute all SOW Engineering design packages related to new or existing edge/pop sites as per Edge and Network Services (ENS) standards.
• Proactively contribute to documentation, automation and processes as they evolve.
• Understand the overall needs of current and future POP infrastructure.
