• Position Title: Sea Freight Export Officer/ Export Sea freight Shipping Officer
• Working Location: Ubi
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Rotational Saturdays after confirmation, all Saturdays are WFH) (Mon to Fri: 8:30am - 5.30pm) (Sat: 8.30am – 12.00pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $2800 + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and receive bookings and shipping instructions from customers and overseas agents.
• Arrange bookings with carriers and co-loaders, ensuring alignment with vessel schedules to meet customer and agent requirements.
• Manage the approval of dangerous goods and related applications with carriers and co-loaders as needed.
• Input new shipments into the CW1 system, and manage documentation such as job sheets.
• Collaborate with various service providers to organize pickup, crating, container stuffing, trucking, and fumigation services.
• Ensure the timely collection of Proof of Delivery (POD) or updates on delivery status from destinations, and communicate this information to customers.
• Electronically document POD and update delivery dates in CW1 for all door-to-door shipments.
• Assist the Permit team by providing necessary documents and information for permit declarations.
• Confirm receipt and accuracy of approved permits with customers and carriers/co-loaders via email.
• Prepare and issue invoices to customers and generate Debit Notes for overseas agents.
• Perform data entry tasks and generate reports as required by customers.
• Other ad-hoc duties which may be assigned.

  A shift: 7.30am to 5pm / 7am to 4.30pm
  B shift: 1 to 10.30pm / 1.30pm to 11pm

Job Descriptions:

• Supervise all Front Office sections and other hotel operational departments.
• Manage reception, cashier, telephone, reservation, and baggage services within the Front Office. Monitor junior staff's behavior and performance for a positive guest experience.
• Handle security-related tasks, such as directing guests in case of incidents and addressing undesirable behavior or individuals in coordination with security.
• Optimize room usage to increase revenue by closely monitoring room inventory.
• Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous service and manage guest check-in/check-out processes.
• Maintain an appropriate cash float and authorize rate changes, paid-outs, cash advances, and check acceptance following established procedures and credit policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for welcoming customers in a courteous and prompt manner and lead them to a prepared table in accordance with outlets’ seating procedures
• Attend to customers’ enquiries and/or feedback, promotion packages via phone calls and email timely, professionally and in an efficient manner and make outbound calls when needed

• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin and able to communicate clearly and efficiently to our guests
• Strong customer oriented mindset with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and ability to take pressure
• Exceptional grooming habits and positive attitude with an interest in delivering excellent service quality to customers
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office / Excel) and internet savvy
• Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays
