Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that all payments by cash/GIRO/TT are posted and reconciled in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure credit card postings and payments are reconciled.
• Review all charge-backs from credit card companies and alert Assistant Accountant.
• Check all Banquet Event Orders to ensure deposits mentioned are received and posted.
• Raise invoices and/or credit notes as and when necessary before forwarding to Finance Manager / Director of Finance for approval.
• Check all invoices / billings before mailing out.
• Attend to guests’ enquiries on billings and charges.
• Ensure AR Aging tally with GL.
• Ensure TA commission and Credit Card outstanding forwarded to GL for accruals.

The Asia Business Unit (ABU) consists of 12 markets (11 countries) across Asia – Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Brunei and Vietnam.

This position provides strategic leadership & oversight of the marketing & menu function, and is responsible for Marketing’s measurable contribution to the ABU’s business & financial goals by:

• Providing overall Business & Marketing strategy counsel
• Supporting the development and execution of market’s Business & Marketing plans
• Facilitating cross-market communication and best practice sharing
• Facilitating the growth of Brand Strength & Creative Effectiveness
• Participating in the development of key Marketing talents and ensuring that Market teams are appropriately staffed and trained.

Key Stakeholders:

Market CMOs & Managing Directors, ABU leadership, Global Marketing & Menu Teams, and fellow Business Unit Marketing Leads (i.e., LATAM, Middle East & Europe, and Japan).

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

The ABU CMO is specifically accountable for the following:

Strategic Alignment to deliver Business & Brand Performance

• Work closely with market MDs & CMOs to deliver the BU’s annual sales & guest count plan
• Partner with market CMOs to build long term brand affinity, brand trust, and other brand drivers
• Ensure that markets’ Marketing & Menu Plans are aligned with McDonald’s strategic framework
• Identify and encourage synergies across market’s Business and Marketing strategies
• Identify and build long-term Menu Platforms for growth

Communication & Consulting

• Organize and coordinate Marketing meetings & conferences (both virtual & live) that stimulate the sharing of ideas, learning, tools and resources
• Collaborate with market CMOs to review and add value to local Marketing plans
• Provide (find & develop) necessary tools & resources to assist market CMOs in all aspects of their job
• Provides actionable input to local Marketing plans – Help identify problems & opportunities, evaluate them and provide recommendations
• Represent the BU’s interest globally, collaborating with Global Teams to develop and share global strategies, providing an Asian lens to ensure relevance for the ABU
• Collaborate with other BU CMOs to identify benchmarks, synergies and best practices

Talent Development & Pipeline

• Provide coaching and leadership to direct reports within the Business Unit
• Provide coaching and guidance to key marketing members from the markets (e.g., Market level CMO, Market level Director, etc.)
• Work with market CMOs to review and develop a robust succession pipeline
• Motivates local Marketing, Menu & Agency teams in a constructive manner (e.g. Providing recognition within market, BU or Global)

Partnership & Relationship Management

• Build relationships with associated agencies (e.g. Creative or Media agencies) and suppliers (e.g. Coca-Cola, Nestle) to facilitate local and/or regional Marketing synergies
• Ensure compliance with fundamental agreements in alliance contracts within the zone (e.g. Creative Approvals, Royalties, 3rd party pass-thru, Ambush, Promotion dates)
• Resolve Market-level alliance issues

Creative & Media Effectiveness

• Provide training, inspiration & tools
• Facilitate best practice sharing and encourage markets to steal shamelessly
• Exercise Brand Stewardship responsibility to ensure all creative, both commercials and print materials, represent McDonald’s in the best manner
• Facilitate and oversee roll-out of regional/global campaigns, including approvals

Marketing & Menu Administration

• Ensure programs follow the appropriate approval process (e.g., legal, alliances).
• Enforce the Golden Arches code across the markets

Job Description:

The Customer Services Officer is responsible to present a welcoming and knowledgeable experience to patients and customers at the Information Counter and in Thomson Medical Centre (TMC). He/She is responsible for smooth hospital operations, display consistent excellent service level to all internal and external customers at all times, including duties assigned by Manager, Hospitality and Senior Manager, Guest Services.

Responsibilities:

Handle walk-in and telephone enquiries at the information counter or in the lobby, provide information on general directions for clinics, wards and facilities in the hospital, booking of hospital tour, price list for hospital stay, etc.

• Handle complains/feedbacks professionally if any.
• Conduct maternity/hospital tours to introduce potential patients
• Process walk-in membership application.
• Reply Guest Services and Membership emails enquires on a timely manner.
• Accompany patients to their respective wards and conduct room orientation or the delivery suite after the completion of the admission process when required.
• Assist to receive hospital items such as gift packs to patients, do stock-take, help to deliver to patients at the ward and keep record of hospital inventory items.
• To support/cross coverage for fellow colleagues from Concierge, Bellhop and Guest Services Associates when they are on meal breaks, sick leave, annual leave etc when required.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• GCE “N”, “O” Level or Diploma
• At least 2 years’ experience in healthcare or hospitality industries
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Works precisely and accurately with details and factual information.

The position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance department, Payroll and General Cashiering.

Primary Responsibilities

Administrative Support   

• Updates daily Accounts Receivables List of Remittance upon receipt of cheques. 
• To segregate incoming and outgoing mails and delivery of mails to various Finance sections.
• Co-ordinate and issue hotel gift certificates. 

Cashiering Duties

• Responsible for cash collection and checking of daily remittances, in the presence of a witness.
• Ensures sufficient change and refill for cash machine.
• Updates foreign exchange rate as per hotel policy and policies.
• Ensures daily bank deposits.
• Prepares daily cash receipt report and journals. 
• Balances cash machine fund daily and ensures all funds are returned to the cash machine at end of day.
• Co-ordinates and issues cashiers’ float.
• Provides training to new cashiers.
• Maintains over and short records for each cashier and shows evidence of review by Director of Finance and Business Support.

Monthly Payroll Processing

• Computes and finalises payroll with necessary reports printed for proper approvals to be submitted to bank for processing.
• Ensures high level of confidentiality when dealing with all matters related to payroll.
• Collects and verifies basic payroll information from original sources such as appointment letters, E-Overtime / E-Timesheet reports and payroll allowances and deductions form.
• Processes petty cash reimbursement and expenses report relating to colleagues’ benefits.
• Makes necessary deductions from colleagues’ salary before payday.
• Takes note of resignees and ensures proper process to avoid overpayment in last salary payout.
• Checks and calculates all colleagues’ benefits and ensure proper backups are submitted. 
• Works closely with Talent and Culture team on matters concerning colleagues’ salary, leave, allowances and deductions.
• Responsible for accurate and timely Central Provident Fund submission.
• Checks, verifies and processes casual labour payments in E-casual labour.
• Submits all claims for government paid leaves and reservist make-up pay and maximise any credits available to reduce overall payroll cost.
• Files IR21 for all resigned foreign colleagues for tax clearing purpose.
• Reconciles vacation, bonuses accrual on a monthly basis.
• Prepares monthly Jounrals, Balance sheets and any other reports relating to Payroll.
• Ensures that all hotel systems and internal controls related to payroll section are adhered to.
• Works on any payroll related projects and ensures successful implementations.
