Receive and validate customers order including shipping documents, SLI, EIN, credit application

Review/update; verify fees, customer profile, SOP, and rates per quote or customer SOP/work instructions

Verify shipment status, review pre-alert and verify shipment handling instructions to operations

Serve as a liaison between Document Processing Agent and the Customer regarding shipment details and/or exception

Communicate and resolve problems that arise in the movement of product

Communicate exceptions and shipment status with Customer

· Process invitation to tender / request for quote (RFQ), prepare & submit quotations and follow up to secure new order

· Ensure that the tenders / RFQs are completed in a timely and effective manner in keeping with the Company’s business objectives

· Ensure that all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements

· Attend to any queries from customers regarding quotations

· Inspect vessels to scope repairs required and prepare / submit quotation and follow up to secure order

· Prepare preliminary schedules of quoted scope of works for Production team

· Source prices of suppliers and sub-contractors.

· Comment on Owners’ terms and conditions.

· Clear understanding & previous experience in the Marine or Offshore industry is an added advantage

• Monitor daily stores sales, settlement types, and bank deposits
• Prepare monthly reconciliation journals and manage tender discrepancies
• Process refunds for credit card transactions and handle supplier invoices
• Reconcile vouchers and customer deposits monthly
• Generate monthly sales, gross profit, and reconciliation reports for management
• Assist with stock takes and cash float checks as scheduled
• Complete full accounts receivable tasks, including accounts payable and receivable duties
• Support with ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Accountancy or related disciplines
• Min 1 year of related work experience is preferred
• 5 days’ work week (8.30am – 5.30pm)
• Location: Bugis
• Salary: up to $3000
• Permanent Full Time role

Reports to: Operations Manager, Precious Metals

Position Purpose:

In this role, the applicant will work as part of a regional team. He/she will be responsible for scheduling physical commodity movements of precious metals across a global network. The role requires coordination with trading and sales teams as well as other support functions to ensure efficient transfer of precious metals to our clients. This role will ensure that all daily processes are fully completed and signed off and will also involve daily processing of metal releases and trade checking.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with warehouses and freight forwarders to arrange deliveries to client and receipt from supplier.
• Arranging and preparing payment of invoices.
• To prepare document and arrange stock release into warehouses and other storage facilities.
• To arrange shipment with warehouses for stock to be shipped from one location to another.
• Maintain effective business relationships with Sales, Logistics, Banks and colleagues
• File Management - Maintain accurate files in soft copy for auditing purposes
• Gather documents for Internal and External Auditor
• Perform daily reconciliation for previous day trades
• Adhoc duties as required
• May work on PH-rotation

Responsibilities

• To prevent unauthorized person(s) from entry into the estate, reduce the risk of criminal intent, mischief, theft and vandalism
• Reduce threat to safety of occupants and damage to property
• Foot patrol within and around the estate to spot suspicious characters, identify problems and reduce potential intrusion
• Assist the armed CISCO police officers in the discharge of their duties in protecting the occupants and the premises
• Perform escort duties of all visitors, contractors and authorized persons in and around the compound
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
