As a Pega Professional, you will contribute to the development, delivery and maintenance of technology-based business solutions. You are skilled in designing, coding, testing, and implementation of configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements. You may have also some oversight responsibility for the technology solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing Pega BPM applications.

• Designing class structures, application frameworks, and data models

• Coordinating with the project team to ensure the business architecture matches the needs of the customer.

• Integrating business databases, legacy systems, and web services.

• Troubleshooting application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks.

• Integration of technical and application components to meet business requirements

• Designing, coding and testing program modules that meet design specifications

• Maintaining, tuning and repairing applications to keep them performing in accordance to technical and functional specifications; perform preventive maintenance activities; providing user support. Additional details-

• Proven work experience as a Pega developer with at least 5 years’ experience using Pegasystems framework

• Preferably certified as Pega Senior System Architect (8.x)

• Strong understanding of Pega methodologies (Agile Scrum preferred)

• Experience with full lifecycle Pega implementations (Pega 8.x)

• Demonstrated understanding of various Pega Rules components – including: DX API, UI, Activities and Flows, Declaratives, Decision, Validation, Reports, Correspondences

• Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.

Job Title: Application Engineer

Work Location: Central, Singapore

Job Type: 4 Years Contract, subject to renewal

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with architects and analysts to ensure cohesion between the proposed solutions and technical requirements.
2. Participate actively to the analysis and design of new functionalities and components according to development specifications.
3. Build modules and interfaces for various applications using Web and mobile technologies.
4. Participate to development meetings and share information to help with project progress.
5. Design and carry out verification tests to ensure the quality of the applications that have been developed.
6. Document the work completed as part of the project.
7. Preparation of training manuals for users.
8. Deliver the solution within the timeline with good work quality.
9. Perform other related tasks as when required.

Job Requirements:

1. A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Science, IT, Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
2. A minimum of 4 years programming experience in object-oriented programming languages using C#.
3. At least 2 years of working experience on .NET MVC 5, Razor views, Web API, Entity Framework and WCF.
4. Working experience on web user interface components like Bootstrap, Kendo UI or similar components.
5. Deep functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services.
6. Experience with relational database technology including schema design, stored procedure development and SQL queries.
7. Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Web front end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX.
8. A minimum of 1 year of experience in Unit testing.
9. Hands-on experience with AngularJS.
10. Experience in Agile / Scrum / CMMI methodologies (or any equivalent).
11. Exposure to SharePoint customization and familiarity with basic application security and web security is an advantage.

Job Objectives

This role is to : -

• Solutioning Architecture – Establish an application architectural framework (people, process, systems) that enables harmonized business capability and processes, optimized user experience and reuse of system components so that it maximizes opportunity for the business to exploit

Key responsibilities:

• Leads the development of application architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers. Takes full responsibility for the balance between functional, service quality and systems management requirements within a significant area of the organization. Support the establishment of policy and strategy for the selection of systems architecture components, and co-ordinates design activities, promoting the discipline to ensure consistency. Ensures that appropriate standards (corporate, industry, national and international) are adhered to. Within a business change programme, manages the target design, policies and standards, working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across projects within the programme.
• Contributes to the creation and review of a systems capability strategy for responsible area to meet the strategic requirements of the business. Develops models and plans to drive forward the strategy, taking advantage of opportunities to improve business performance. Takes responsibility for investigative work to determine requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, data management, practices, procedures, organization and equipment.
• Provides leadership and guidelines for responsible area to promote the development and exploitation of IT technologies for next generation practices in the complex capital equipment manufacturing business.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architect, Digital and Data architect, Infrastructure architect and IT Security architect to identify synergies and dependencies in IT roadmap to avoid unnecessary reworks.
• Drives the development and recruitment of application architecture and solution design competency and capability set that meets the company needs
• Analyses business processes; identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and recommends new approaches, typically seeking to exploit technology components. Evaluates the financial, cultural, technological, organizational and environmental factors which must be addressed in the change programme. Establishes client requirements for the implementation of significant changes in organizational mission, business functions and process, organizational roles and responsibilities, and scope or nature of service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have (education & experience):

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• Mininum 15 years relevant corporate IT or equivalent experience, in a multicultural environment with manufacturing companies in the > $3B range, with progressive increases in role and responsibility.
• Strong Leadership, and had managed a team size of >10+
• Strong knowledge in SAP Materials Management (MM) and Ariba (Supply Chain Collaboration, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Lifecycle) for sourcing & procurement.
• Strong knowledge in SAP MM and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), for supply chain logistics.
• Strong integration knowledge to Finance, Sales, and Manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of RFID and EDI would be a bonus.
• Broad and deep knowledge of enterprise solutions implemented in complex capital equipment manufacturing business contexts especially product configuration, engineering, manufacturing solutions and service management

Demonstrated:

• Led SAP blueprinting efforts for at least 5 sizable projects that involves complex capital equipment manufacturing business contexts. Experience with deep involvement in a S/4HANA implementation project end-to-end would be a bonus.
