Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist
Location: Seng Kang Primary School, 21 Compassvale Walk, Singapore 545166
Contract Period: 1 January 2025 – 31 December 2025

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (inclusive of 0.5-hour lunch break)
• Fridays: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (inclusive of 0.5-hour lunch break)
• Note: Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.

Scope of Services:

The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Handling front desk duties, including attending to all enquiries via phone, email, and in-person visitors (guests, students, and staff).
• Assisting in the dissemination of daily relief planning arrangements and instructions to teachers and relief teachers.
• Managing packing and distribution of collaterals from MOE and other agencies.
• Attending to sick and injured students, contacting parents when necessary.
• Opening and recording incoming mails and distributing them to the respective recipients.
• Managing the updating of staff pigeon-holes in case of staff movement.
• Assisting in P1 registration and other administrative matters.
• Preparing and packing exam materials (e.g., writing pads and OAS forms).
• Performing general filing and data entry tasks.
• Assisting AE/CSO with the issuance of financial assistance letters when necessary.
• Providing logistical and administrative support for school events.
• Handling any other administrative duties as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• At least one year of experience working as a front desk receptionist in a school setting and general administration.
• Good communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
• Preferably knowledgeable in first aid.
• Hands-on and proactive approach to tasks.
