Using samples from multiple marine species that have been collected along an approximate 6000km east to west transect from Sumatra to Papua New Guinea, the candidate will work on a project that seeks to explain why the marine ecosystems of the Coral Triangle are so biologically diverse, what facilitates and what restricts gene flow in the region, and finally, how can this information be used to advance marine conservation planning in Southeast Asia.

The main responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• DNA extraction, PCR, High-throughput DNA sequencing library preparation (Illumina, PacBio, ONT) and the associated techniques.

This is a digital board activity management software developed by Trusted Services to enable boards to go paperless and make decisions in an efficient manner, anytime and anywhere. We have a team who will provide training to new joiners.

• Advise on various aspects of the project development
• Provide and attend training / sales presentations
• Provide other support to the Product Owner, where required, to meet project deliverables

Executive Support

• Attend to assignments or queries proactively
• Atend and draft client's meeting minutes

Dynamic Adaptation:

Manage portfolio of companies with minimal supervision.

Qualification, Competencies/ Other Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate secretarial work.
• Diploma holder with related experience or degree holder or holder of a professional certificate in chartered secretary.
• Good understanding of regulatory and statutory requirements of the Singapore Companies Act.
• Ability to organise and prioritise work.
• Possess a flexible and proactive attitude.
• Good command of English is a key requirement.

Job description

• Responsible in receiving & despatching goods.
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies.
• Perform other stock-related duties, such as returning, packing, pricing, labelling supplies and and making minor repairs.
• Responsible for preparing Booking Confirmations, Air Way Bills, Delivery Notes, Permits, etc.
• Perform any other ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements & others

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook.
• Working Location at 29 Media Circle, Alice@Mediapolis. Free shuttle buses connect passangers between One-North & Buona Vista MRT Stations.

This position reports to Assistant Director (Corporate Communications)

Main Responsibilities:

Corporate and Marketing Communications

• Support Assistant Director (Corporate Communications) in media relations work
• Assist in visits/courtesy calls by external parties
• Work with vendors to design and produce collaterals for branding/profiling
• Procurement of corporate gifts and managing corporate gift inventory
• Design and send EDMs (when needed)
• Updating content on ReCAAP ISC website

Social Media

• Support Assistant Director (Corporate Communications) in generating content to educate and engage followers on ReCAAP ISC social media channels (Twitter and LinkedIn).
• Photo taking and drafting social media posts to publicise the Centre’s events and meetings/engagements by ReCAAP ISC Executive Director
• Monitoring comments/responses to social media posts.
• Keeping track of and reporting on social media analytics to increase engagement and followers

Secretariat

• Support Secretariat work – e.g. drafting letters/official correspondences and reports, managing invitations for annual Governing Council (GC) Meeting of ReCAAP ISC, drafting meeting minutes, producing the Executive Director’s Report
• Copywriting and working with appointed vendors to produce ReCAAP 20thanniversary collaterals (e.g. logo, microsite, coffeetable book)

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in communications
• Minimum 2-3 years of work experience; preferably in communications-related fields
• Excellent writing skills.
• Adept in social media/digital communications, including analytics and data measurement
• IT-savvy and proficient in use of design software (e.g. Canva)
• Proactive problem solver
• Self-motivated individual who is a team player
• Meticulous and results-oriented

About ReCAAP ISC

The Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia Information Sharing Centre (ReCAAP ISC) is the first regional government-to-government agreement to promote and enhance cooperation against piracy and armed robbery against ships in Asia.

The Agreement entered into force on 4 September 2006 with 14 Asian countries as Contracting Parties, and the Information Sharing Centre was established on 29 November 2006. To date, 21 States have become Contracting Parties to ReCAAP.

To fulfil its vision as the Information Hub for combating piracy and armed robbery against ships in Asia, ReCAAP ISC enhances regional cooperation through information sharing, capacity building and cooperative arrangements.

At the 12th Governing Council Meeting in 2018, the Council announced that ReCAAP ISC has met the criteria to be a Centre of Excellence for information sharing in combating piracy and armed robbery against ships at sea.

ReCAAP ISC, an International Organisation, marked its 15th anniversary milestone in 2021.
