• Emphasis will be on the assignment of rooms for all arrivals, and this includes the training of the Guest Relations Executives in this aspect of the job.
• Check and ensure that consistency in the service for guest is maintained from the reservation stages to the final departure.
• To plan and prepare work schedules for Duty Manager and Front Desk personnel.
• Authorise the acceptance of traveller cheques, cash advance, rebates, paid out, refunds on the basis of established procedures.
• Monitor and control guest's credit status to ensure that payment is collectable and received on time. Perform a regular follow up for pending payments to ensure that they are collected.
• To coordinate with security in the investigation of irregularities and undesirable guests.
• Monitor and control the rooms’ situation in connection with reservations, daily occupancy and rooms’ availability to ensure maximum revenue through effective yield management.
• Attend department heads meeting in the absence of the Front Office Manager or other meetings as required.
• Be familiar with all Accounting Standards and Procedures pertaining to rooms revenue and advise staff concerned to adhere to them in daily operations.
• Know all procedures in case of emergency or fire and make sure that staff are periodically trained to face this situation and know their function according to the procedures.
• Participate in the inspection and checking the preparation for VIPs and ensure that they will receive proper treatment as VIP during their stay with the hotel.
• Keep updating with new Standards, Procedures and other information and advise Front Office section heads accordingly.
• Perform other duties related or unrelated to Front Office Department or as assigned by Front Office Manager, or the Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide psycho-social therapies, rehabilitation, counselling and case management for adult clients with mental health issues.
• Partner primary care physicians in managing clients with mental health needs in the community.
• Provide education, training and support to the clients and their caregivers to equip and enable them to live well in the community
• Contribute towards improving the quality of practice and professional issues in the service group.
• Implement services / programme interventions, provide inputs on programme design and delivery to ensure that the delivery of services matches government and community priorities.
• Liaise and work with organisations, partners and volunteers to build an ecosystem of assets and resources to facilitate more effective work with clients and their caregivers.
• Assist with report submissions, research projects or other organisation projects, as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Master Degree in Counselling or Bachelor Degree in Social Work, preferably with a recognised certification in Counselling.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience; knowledge and experience in mental health / community care / healthcare sector; relevant experience working with mental health conditions, dementia and caregiving will be advantageous.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English; able to speak in mandarin and/or dialects would be essential for engagement with clients.
• Passionate to work with clients with mental health conditions and caregivers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with individuals and systems at multi-levels.
• Good analytical and assessment skills.
• Team player with an ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving service requirements.
• Strong organisational skills and structured.

Job Scope

• Responsible for providing sterile and serviceable surgical instruments and equipment.
• Involved in the decontamination, inspection, preparation, packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution of the sterile devices to operating theatres and procedural rooms.
• Involved in projects involving work-process improvements as you gain experience in the department.

Requirement

• Min NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering or related fields

Working Hours

Able to perform 3 rotating shifts (8am to 4.35pm; 1pm to 9.35pm; 9pm to 7.30am), including weekends and public holidays
