You will maintain the general cleanliness of the pharmacy premise, provide assistance to the operational supervisors and support the pharmacy operations in the pre-packing of medications.

Duties & Responsibilities

Housekeeping
• Perform general housekeeping activities in the pharmacy (e.g. clearing carton boxes).
• Ensure that dispensing consumables (e.g. plastic bags & spoons) are topped up at the dispensing counters daily.
• Replenish brochures/pamphlets at the patients waiting area.

Inventory Management
• Pre-packing of tablets/capsules and lotions
• Provide manual assistance to the supervisors during topping up of mixtures and lotions.
• Load and unload stocks and display stocks on the shelves
• Perform replenishment of stocks
• Assist in stock take and cycle counts

General
• To clean equipment including refrigerators according to the schedule specified in the policy.
• Assist in waste disposal of pharmaceuticals.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Job Requirements
• Minimum PSLE / N level in any field

• No experience required as training provided

Areas of Responsibility

• Support the Assistant Director in operations and administrative work
• Work with internal (Director and Healthcare institutions) and external stakeholders
• Co-prepare the annual PPE report for submission to MOH
• Process billings and coordinate submission of accruals
• Ensure utilisation of funding meets the parameters set out in the annual Implementation Note
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Work on projects and with other teams in reviewing PPE-related agreements/policies
• Provide secretariat and logistical support to meetings and tracking of deliverables
• Opportunities to be involved in other intra- and inter-departmental projects.
• Other duties and projects may also be assigned, in accordance with the aspirations and competence of the incumbent to the needs of the project

REQUIREMENTS

• Min Bachelor’s degree in any field
• Min 3 years of work experience
