We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our piling division. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our piling business, from managing field operations and equipment to ensuring project efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

• Oversee all field operations, including pile driving, soil testing, and site preparation.
• Manage and optimize resource allocation (equipment, personnel, materials).
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Project Management:

• Develop and execute project plans and schedules within budget and timeframe.
• Manage project budgets and cost control measures.
• Provide progress reports and address potential issues to project stakeholders.
• Lead project teams, ensure collaboration, and foster a positive work environment.

Business Development and Strategy:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to ensure company growth and profitability.
• Stay informed about industry trends and technology advancements.
• Proficiency in Japanese is required to build strong relationships and effectively collaborate with our Japanese stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers, in their native language.

Reporting to Head of Vietnam, headquartered in Singapore, you will be responsible for existing Commercial & Residential (C&R) projects in Vietnam by leading the departments- Planning, Construction and Development, Management, Business Development, Marketing and Customer Service in achieving marketing targets and delivering projects to meet customer demands and attain highest standard of customer service.

As the General Director, you will manage profit and loss of the projects, drive revenue and profit growth, cost, service and performance improvements within organization and with service providers. Under your leadership, you will be expected to leverage on established networks and build strong relationship with local authorities, business partners and customers. You will also support Head of Vietnam to seek and structure C&R business development opportunities to expand the footprint of the Company.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or its equivalent with a minimum 12 years of relevant experience in
• C&R project development and general management
• Strong business acumen, service and result oriented
• Strong leadership skills and highly experienced people manager in leading cross functional
• teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills is required to manage and influence internal
• and external stakeholders
• Possess strong problem solving skills and able to work well independently and in teams
• Good working knowledge of Vietnam culture and market essentials preferred

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of working experience
• Minimum bachelor degree level
• Experience in the Drinks industry (Soft Drinks or Spirits preferably)
• Strong Sales experience, especially in the Irish on-trade
• Brand building experience
• Market and RTM knowledge
• Interest in spirits and cocktails is a plus

Review electrical engineering drawings and refer issues requiring changes.

Assign job tasks and work as per electrical project schedules.

Review all electrical drawings with Leadmen performing on assigned jobs to them.

Stimulate fabrication standards to ensure quality work attained from assigned staff.

Recruit, guide, train, monitor and terminate assigned employees as required.

Recommend effective solutions specified particular weight related to employment status of employees.

Schedule, assign, plan and supervise electrical shop personnel performance on different electrical projects.
