Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in hotel management or a similar role.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

The General Manager (Construction Project Management/Operations) must possess vast experience and knowledge in the construction industry and shall report directly to the Managing Director.

The General Manager (Construction Project Management/Operations) should have strong organisational and communication skills and be responsible for the day-to-day operations for meeting operational objectives that aligned with overall business goals in terms of the following:

• Providing guidance and input to the team on the marketing plan for potential job opportunities, tender, execution and completion of all the projects to meet budget and timeline.
• Shall work closely with the General Manager of Engineering, MEP, Commercial, Contracts and Finance & Administration divisions to ensure that the operational processes are streamlined and optimized to improve efficiency and productivity to meet its business objectives.
• Working with the Corporate Planning Team to develop and implement the company strategic plan to achieve long and short-term team goals and targets.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team of department heads.
• Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal communication skills.

• Responsible for the General Affairs Matters for site office
• Facilities Maintenance of Client & Contractors’ Temporary Office Buildings including site provisional offices
• Office consumables/material purchasing
• Company vehicle control & operation
• Support for HR Operations including but not limited to dormitory control, welfare, training of workers, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Tertiary education in Business administration/ Human resource
• At least 15 years of similar experience in a construction site office environment is mandatory
• Work-related involvement in the procurement and logistics site processes
• Proficient in SAP/ERP system for accounts petty cash, invoice payment/settlement and budget
• Supervise workers for office maintenance works and drivers for carpooling
• Perform negotiation with suppliers for materials and supplies
• Experience in management of workers’ accommodation/dormitory and their welfare
• Coordination with suppliers and subcontractors for rental of staff accommodations, repair and maintenance
• Ability to converse in workers’ language (Bengali/Hindi) is highly preferred as this role requires to communicate with foreign workers frequently
