• be tasked with training and supervision of new and current baristas, as well as other colleagues in our Restaurants by fostering a positive and collaborative team environment through well-planned and effective execution of required knowledge and skills in the preparation and delivery of our beverages.
• safeguard the preparation of high-quality coffee and other beverages, adhering to established recipes and standards to enhance existing skillsets and knowledge about coffee and other beverages, preparation techniques and recipes, and safety procedures.
• ensure the highest level of customer service excellence is always upkept, such as addressing customer needs and any possible feedback efficiently and smoothly.
• help monitor required inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize wastage and maintain product availability.
• be responsible for sales reporting of the bar in our restaurants, as well as assist in budgeting and forecasting where required.
• ensure that all health and safety practices are strictly upkept as per policies and regulations.
• be open to any other skill-development or ad-hoc tasked as assigned by your supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 4-years related experience as a senior barista or manager with responsibilities in a similar bar, cafe and / or restaurant environment.
• Genuine love and passion for coffee and other types of beverages in general.
• Able to work shifts depending on business needs, as well as weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent communication skills with positive, interpersonal skills.
• A team player with a good sense of job responsibility and a keen eye for detail.
• Honest willingness to learn and grow with the Company.

Registration & Admission

· Perform accurate registration for Emergency Department patients

· Manage billing for patients including payment & deposit collection

· Conduct financial counselling for patients / next-of-kin (NOK) who require admission to the hospital

· Assist patients / NOK / general public on general enquiries over the counter or through telephone

· Any other duties assigned from time to time

Bed Management

· Perform bed reservation for patients who require admission which includes bed search and assignment according to department protocol and policy.

· Monitor and manage the bed waiting time for patients in order to meet the department’s Key Performance Indicator (KPI)

· Liaise with clinicians and inpatient nursing for bed related matters

· Generate daily report and information for dissemination to the relevant stakeholders.

· Any other duties assigned from time to time

Requirements:

· GCE ‘N’/ ‘O’ / ‘A’ Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in any relevant discipline

· 1 to 2 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare industry

· Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Working Schedule:

· Must be able to perform 3 rotating shifts (including weekends and Public Holidays)

· 7am – 2.30pm (morning) / 2pm – 9.30pm (afternoon) / 9.15pm – 7am (night)

• Preferably a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with Social Work Accreditation Board.
• Prior experience in social work or the social agency setting is preferred.
