This is a hybrid internship role for an Interior Designer, with the expectation of both physical presence in Singapore and flexible remote working from home. Your responsibilities will revolve mostly around ideating, creating, and designing creative assets for client accounts. Some examples of what you will need to create on the job:

Skills:

Responsibilities:

• Handle sales enquiries. (will be focus more on sales, design team will assist you in the design part)
• Discuss and propose professional advice on interior design, space planning, design conceptualization and material selection to prospective clients.
• Prepare proposal and quotation based on client requirement and design.
• Manage and coordinate project progress from inception to completion.
• Site supervision and project coordination.
• Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project work smoothly.
• Schedule workflow to meet customer move in date.

Requirements:

• Applicants with Min. Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or related fields are highly welcome.

- Mood boards, design development and presentation.

YUME Architects is a multiple award-winning design studio based in Singapore. We are the recipients of the 2021 SIA Architectural Design Awards for Delight: Singapore pavilion at Venice biennale 2018, as well as iF Design Award 2023, Kyoto Global Design Award 2023 and German Design Award 2023 for Body, Heart and Soul exhibition.

Job Description

The scope of works covers the entire range of architectural and interior architectural projects starting from the feasibility study to the construction contract administration.

- Participate in feasibility studies

- Participate in establishing concept deign

- Participate in all aspects of design with 3D modelling, visualization with renderings, and drawings

- Attend client meetings

- Attend consultant meetings

- Attend site meetings

- Liaising with clients/consultants/contractors

- Production of tender drawings and documents

- Assist architect on submission matters

- Assist and participate in construction administrations

Requirements

- Rhinoceroses

- Revit (not necessary but is an advantage)

- AutoCAD

- Rendering skills

- Photoshop / illustrator

- Must be able to work in a collaborative manner in multi-tasking environments

- Must have strong interest in design and eyes for details
