Purpose and Scope

The C&S Designer plays a pivotal role in creating and managing 3D models of projects which is crucial to the successful delivery of building projects.

A Day in the Life

• Conduct research on visual ideas
• Conceptualise and sketch graphics designs based on requirements/specifications
• Develop and execute ideas from concept stage to FA
• Delivering production artwork / guidelines / planogram artwork for Commercial implementation.
• Work closely with team members on implementation of concept and designs
• Oversee work rendered from colour proof/mock-up to final print and application
• Conduct on-site inspections to ensure that graphic designs are according to specifications

Who We Are Looking For

• Degree/Diploma in graphic design or visual communication
• Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic designs
• Experience in retail design and planograming will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Acrobat)
• Able to create a variety of design styles
• Self-driven and positive work attitude
• Able to work effectively in a team and respect others
• Organised and meticulous
• Able to deal with challenging situations, and competing demands and priorities
• Able to work well with others to produce a successful outcome
• Understanding of fabrication methods and material standards will have an added advantage

At AcePLP, we have a BIM Traineeship Programme that welcomes fresh graduates to enter the Built Environment industry. Trainees will undergo classroom training to reinforce industry concepts and learn digital skills that are in demand on live construction projects.

There are opportunities for your modelling skills and experience to be accredited by the industry upon completion of your formal training programme. There are also opportunities to get your further studies in BIM or Construction related fields to be sponsored by AcePLP.

You will receive a salary throughout the traineeship programme from day 1. You will also receive a share of profit expressed as a percentage of revenue generated.

Responsibilities

- Provide BIM modelling and CAD design services support to the Built Environment industries

- Ensure that BIM models are created and maintained in accordance with the specified BIM standard, as well as the client’s specification and statutory regulations

- Generate documentation and shop drawings from the BIM model

- Participate in the design, coordination of the BIM model for drawing submission up to approval stage.

Requirement

- Diploma/Degree in any engineering discipline (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Architecture Civil Engineering, Green Building)
