You will have a broad responsibility in the evaluation of innovation projects which is a critical step in identifying high impact projects with benefits to patients/staff and/or cost savings. Your scope of work includes the following items:

a. Independently conduct systematic and non-systematic literature review using various search engines and public databases to evaluate the potential value of health innovations

b. Identify subject areas for data extraction and conduct data extraction and data wrangling from institutional databases to support the evaluation of the potential value of health innovations and for specific research projects

c. Draft and format evaluation reports for innovation teams and management reporting d. Manage projects from start to end with guidance (i.e. develop research objectives and study design, perform data extraction and data collation, conduct data modelling, perform statistical analysis and engage and collaborate with various stakeholders)

e. Perform statistical analysis and other data analysis for various impact assessment projects

f. Perform health technology assessments (cost analysis, cost effectiveness analysis, cost utility analysis or budget impact analysis) with guidance

g. Draft research abstracts and manuscripts

h. Support secretariat and administrative functions pertaining to the impact assessment unit

i. Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Head of Department (HOD) and/or supervisor

Job Requirements

You will support the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Information System (ERMIS) Programme to transform systems, processes and empower stakeholders with risk data to engage risk management strategies in a sustainable manner. This includes transforming the cluster level system into an ERMIS and foster a 3-way collaboration between the User Groups, Risk Teams and Data Teams to propel SingHealth’s capability in risk management using data analytics tools. You will assist and support the acceleration of healthcare transformation by nurturing the innovation culture through designing and strengthening supportive frameworks for healthcare professionals across all domains. You will support the seeding of potential for discovery and innovation through seed funding and pilot grants for healthcare professionals across SingHealth.

You will fuel more ground-up local innovation, inspire ideation and facilitate new solutions to enable innovation to be brought towards actual translation and benefits. You will support the pre-call publicity and administration of grant calls, including the evaluation of projects and monitoring of the projects and fund utilisation to ensure timely reporting of the achievement of project milestones, deliverables and KPIs in accordance to the gift intent.

You will uncover new healthcare synergies by supporting the facilitation process and enabling teams to collaborate with external agencies to participate in joint innovation programmes, research and education initiatives to leverage complementary capabilities outside the healthcare sector and ensure that innovation decisions are translated to strategies and action plans for implementation. This will include supporting the navigation of these projects for resource-matching, collaborators (commercials and Institution of Higher Learnings/Research Institutes), grants etc.

Job Requirements

You will assist to establish processes and work in a team to implement risk management best practices in innovation projects aimed at adoption and commercialisation. You will be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the office’s ISO13485-compliant quality management system processes and procedures in the department’s work and projects.

You will provide technical guidance and development support to the office’s ongoing medical technology development projects which include but are not limited to supporting validation of unmet clinical needs in projects, providing inputs to project teams on regulatory, quality and risk requirements, performing basic risk assessment of proposed solutions with consideration to regulatory requirements and conducting clinical need filtering and de-risking.

You will ensure compliance with quality, regulatory and organisation policies and systems and support record-keeping and documentation needed for compliance. Overview

The Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is a centralised platform for population health research, innovation, implementation and evaluation activities at the SingHealth Regional Health System. CPHRI aims to seamlessly leverage data and technology to guide and support population health initiatives and accelerate the implementation of research findings in care delivery and improvement.

You will be responsible for providing general administrative and operational support for CPHRI. You will maintain meeting schedules and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders. 1. Implement an enhanced Site Safety, Health, and Environmental management system to manage risks and minimize accidents and incidents.
