Glam Salon is a beauty salon located at the Heart of Jurong west market. Our company have been in the beauty industry for over 15 years. Our clients are mainly from the neighbourhood with large customer base. We offer a huge variety of hair services for our clients as well as other beauty services such as facial and TCM treatments. We are expanding and our new shop requires new enthusiastic beautician who are not only outgoing but also a competent team player in order to work with other associates to promote wide variety of beauty packages and services to our customers.

We are looking for experienced beautician consultant (Full-Time) to our growing family.

Basic salary + Commission

Basic requirements:

-Consultant experience needed for managerial roles otherwise beauty industry experience

- 6 days work week
- Other ad-hoc duties instructed by the manager
- Promote wide range of services and packages
- Excellent customer service and communication
- Hardworking and team cooperation
- Able to commute well with peers / a team player
- Able to speak basic Chinese and English to maintain good after-sales relationship with different racial clients. (Most clients speak English and Chinese only)
- Strong negotiation and selling skills, well groomed and presentable.
- Independent and self-motivated

- Beauty / Facial knowledge

The Opportunity:

A positive climate of Employee Relations (ER) – with high levels of employee involvement, commitment and engagement – can improve patient outcomes, teamwork amongst employees and contribute towards employee well-being. The incumbent will support the ER team and work closely with HR Business Partners, Heads of Departments/ Reporting Officers and ER Centre of Excellence to support the ER function in JurongHealth Campus and Jurong Medical Centre.

Job Responsibilities:

Disciplinary matters

• Assist in the handling of disciplinary cases, including secretariat support for the investigations.
• Track the progress of each case to ensure closure.
• Assist in the preparation of disciplinary letters etc.
• Maintain the database of all ER cases

Employee Grievances

• Assist in the investigation of the grievances raised.
• Partner with HRBPs in providing appropriate advice and support rendered to employees.

Union Relations

• Provide secretariat support in Management-Union meetings.
• Ensure the logistics for meetings are well coordinated.

Others

• Support the writing of meeting minutes and investigation reports and maintenance of the reports.
• Support in HR activities and projects and/or initiatives, as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Good knowledge with Employment laws and regulations
• Good writing and presentation skills, with attention to details
• Strong interpersonal, communications skills and team player with willingness to learn
• Working experience in secretariat and/or project coordination work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

*Please note that this is a 1 year contract position.

Introduction

Occupational Health Nurses describe as someone who “provides for and delivers health programs and services to workers and worker populations to promote health & wellbeing. The practice focuses on promotion and restoration of health, prevention of illness and injury, and protection from work-related and environmental hazards. Workplace activities might include health and wellness activities, case management, ergonomics, pandemic preparedness, infection control and others such as travel health.

Your Job

Responds to emergency situations and render first aid treatment and medical support assistance

Handle case management of occupational injuries and illnesses

Responsible for overall technical and administrative operations of the in-house clinic

Partake in Occupational Health Practices; including but not limited to Workplace ergonomics assessment, data collection, health education, etc.

Contribute to the provision of training, advice, health surveillance, vaccinations, sickness absence management, investigations of cases of occupational ill health, and other general OH issues

Partake in OFA (Occupational First Aid Training) as a trainer/assistant trainer.

Required Qualifications:

Preferably Registered Nurse (RN/AN). A Specialist diploma in occupational health would be advantageous, although not compulsory

At least 3 years of nursing experience, For candidates with hospital experience, Accident & Emergency or Intensive Care Unit experience would be advantageous

Familiar in MS office (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint, PDF, etc.
