Since October 2011, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.

THKMC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the elderly and the sick, families, persons with disabilities, and children. We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. We have more than 90 programmes and services, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in clinical assessments and procedures to detect, manage, and meet our residents' physical, medical & psychosocial needs
• Work closely with a dynamic multi-disciplinary team to provide co-ordinated and purposeful nursing care to meet rehabilitative and treatment needs of residents
• Engage with residents, relatives & community partners in care planning discussions.
• Provide orientation, guidance, mentoring and coaching to new or less experienced nurses
• Assist RNs in medication administration & management
• Additional responsibilities as directed by RNs or management
• Assist in residents' activities of daily living (ADL)

• NITEC in Nursing from ITE

• Ability to speak local languages and dialects will be an advantage
• Active team player with strong initiative and good communication skills
• Able to perform rotating shift
• Work location: Islandwide - Chai Chee / Eunos /Sembawang

OVERVIEW:

The Corporate Planning function at HMI Medical plays a pivotal role in driving integration and synergies across key entities within the Group. This role offers recent graduates the opportunity to significantly contribute to the integration of one of HMI Medical's entities. As a Corporate Planning Analyst, you will report to the Corporate Planning Senior Manager and assist in project management and execution of key integration workstreams. You will work closely with key internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams and support in reporting to senior management on key integration initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the development of integration plans to achieve synergy targets and value realization for the respective entity.
• Assist in the project management and execution of integration plans/key integration projects for one of HMI Medical’s entities.
• Assist in monitoring and tracking the progress of integration workstreams and related tasks/action items.
• Coordination with cross functional teams and manage internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth integration planning and project execution.
• Prepare presentation materials for internal/external discussion and reporting to senior management.
• Contribute to the development of strategic plans specific to the entity’s integration efforts.
• Conduct relevant research and analysis to support the creation of management and Board materials related to integration activities.

We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

• Graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information and suggest solutions.
• A proactive team player who demonstrates a positive attitude, resourcefulness, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize duties effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
• Fundamental understanding of financial statements and accounting principles is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• A genuine interest in the healthcare sector and business integration processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Preparation and implementation of Safety Program.
• Ensure all work practices comply with company safety policy and WSH Act.
• Advise on work plan / Risk Assessment / safe work procedures.
• Ability to identify problems and provide solutions.
• Able to lead fellow colleagues and inculcate them towards safe work culture.
• Compile all relevant report and records, carry out daily safety inspection.
• Prepare and submit weekly safety report as required by management and clients.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Manager.
• Have experience in confined space, high-altitude work, civil engineering or electrical engineering projects.
• Improve the Company’s EHS system through effective implementation on GGBS, ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001 standards.
• Furnish the necessary documentation for relevant personnel to comply with WSH requirements.
• Any other duties assigned by the EHS Manager.

Experience / Skill Required

• Must have Workplace Safety & Health Diploma / Degree in Environment / Health/ Safety or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as WSHO in Singapore.
• Must be a Singapore Registered Safety Officer / Workplace Safety & Health Officer with Ministry of Manpower (Singapore).
• Must have professional knowledge in WSHE legislation and regulations (WSH act and Environment).
• Physically fit and healthy, hardworking and driven.
• Willing to travel to and from Tuas Nexus Drive (company transportation provided at Boon Lay MRT).

Job Description

• Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and preventing language, speech, and swallowing disorders.
• Communicating with the patient, and liaising with their family members, physicians, and teachers to design effective treatment plans.
• Using tried and tested therapies in combination with new, innovative techniques to provide the best care.
• Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field by attending conferences, conducting research, and expanding professional and academic networks.
• Educating patients and their families on speech disorders and available therapies.
• Taking detailed notes on patient history and progress.
• Providing mentoring and workshops to speech therapy students.
• Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as required.

Requirement

• Bachelor / Master's in Speech and Language Therapy
• Registered with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
