· In surgical disciplines, Resident Physicians and Senior Resident Physicians have additional duties of carrying out elective and emergency operations to the level of complexity permitted by senior staff of the department.

· Resident Physicians and Senior Resident Physicians of surgical disciplines should teach Medical Officers basic operative procedures and guide them when necessary.

· Resident Physicians and Senior Resident Physicians shall possess specialty knowledge and show enthusiasm in improving knowledge.

· Perform any other duties as directed by Head of Department or the Chairman Medical Board of the hospital.

· May be required to perform the duties of the next lower grade, if necessary.

Requirements

• Education, Training and Experience

‒ Medical staff who completed basic specialist training and have a recognized postgraduate qualification.

• Professional License

‒ Must be registered with the Singapore Medical Council, and completed 1 year of housemanship and 3 years medical officer posting.

Job Description

• Assist to ensure services / operations are running smoothly and in compliance to all relevant authorities requirements (SCDF, BCA, NEA, MOM, FSB, URA, EMA, PUB, JTC and etc)
• Assist to support preventive maintenance programs for building equipment to ensure that building equipment are inspected / tested to meet authorities requirement
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure all building services works are done in compliance to contract or work orders
• Day to day operation and routine inspection of building facilities. Take regular meter readings and ensure system is operating in optimal condition
• Perform general maintenance including building works repairs, electrical, air-conditioning and plumbing and sanitary systems
• To supervise / manage outsources security and ensure security procedures are in place and being carried out at all times
• Perform the role of 2nd in charge of site incident controller (SIC), and be part of the company emergency response team (CERT)
• Assist the fire safety manager (FSM) in conducting regular fire safety inspection of the premises, and cover the role of FSM during his absence
