• Work with stakeholders to identify & understand the requirements of software systems
  Plan and participate in product conceptualization sessions with stakeholders for eliciting requirements.
  Elicit and document business/user requirements and translate them into user-stories for development.
  Manage requirements by continuously clarifying and reviewing them via walkthroughs with stakeholders.
  Work with developers to interpret requirements leading to technical implementation.
• Analyze requirements to drive the design or review of test cases/business models/processes
• Work closely with the Product Owner on project schedule, issues, and escalation
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage business owners’ and project sponsor’s expectations
• Drive business process change requests on identified gaps and manage a project’s scope and acceptance.
• Provide inputs to the development team for implementation.
• Work with user experience designers (UXDs) and business users to plan for UAT, coordinate and monitor progress, and ensure acceptance of UAT.
• Ensure the completion of documentation and filings to facilitate software development.
• Continuously find means and ways to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively with various users' departments to provide quality service.
• For smaller projects, double hat as Product Manager with the following responsibilities
  Create project status reports and other communication materials.
  Craft project proposals to secure project funding and justify resource allocations.
  Manage project scope and stakeholders’ expectations.
  Issue escalation to the right people in a timely manner.
  Maintain and continuously refine the Product Backlog.
  Maintain the Project RAID Log and follow up on action items.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED

• More than 2 years of business analyst experience in software development projects
• Experience with web-based and business process software systems implementation
• Good written and verbal communication, including minute taking and technical writing skills
• Possess business case and user-stories development skills
• Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Agile project methodology (Scrum / Extreme Programming) and UX development environment will be an added advantage
• Experience with focus group and workshop facilitation will be an added advantage
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA, and Balsamiq will be an added advantage
• Experience with BPM modeling techniques and methods will be an added advantage
• Certified Scrum Master or Certified Product Owner and/or Certified Business Analysis Professional will be an added advantaage
• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline

You will be a part of Taxation team whose primary focus is to service and support our existing clients in their taxation needs.

– Liaise with clients and collate the information required for the preparation of tax computations.

– Interact with business teams and local tax teams to identify and analyse implications of new and evolving business initiatives and priorities

– Prepare and/or review of income tax computations and tax returns for a portfolio of corporate and individual clients

– Prepare workings and withholding tax forms to the IRAS

– Keep abreast with the developments and ensure compliance in taxation rules and regulations

– Perform ad-hoc tasks/ projects

– Carry out any other duties / projects from time to time when assigned.Act as a channel of communication and information to BOD

– Lead in correspondence to enquiries on corporate tax matters and provide compliance requirements advice

Profile expectation

– ISCA qualification/certification

– At least 5 – 8 years of proven tax experience

– Strong research and technical skills with experience covering a broad range of tax matters.

– Experience with international transfer pricing dealings, leading complex and cross-functional projects.

– Conversant with the Tax Act and familiar with the regulatory and reporting requirements

– Good knowledge of processes and electronic filing requirements of IRAS

– Strong interpersonal skills, excellent organisational skill.

– Ability to perform under tight deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision

– Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
