You will be a part of the Finance team to manage the Group Finance related activities such as consolidation and tax preparation and analysis on the financial performance of the group to ensure timely and accurately submission and compliance to internal controls and relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage finance and tax related activities for REIT portfolio
- Build and maintain cordial relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- All internal teams, including Centre Management teams, Group Finance team, Group Shared Services team and SSBU Finance team
- Key stakeholders, including auditors, tax agents, bankers and Trustee
- Provide senior management with timely, accurate, and relevant information and analysis on the financial performance of the group and working closely with Ops team to provide a complete perspective on group performance.
- Assist in preparing the statutory Financial Statements for half yearly announcements and yearly annual Financial Statements
- Advise on cash flow management via highlighting to CFO foreseeable operational cash needs
- Consolidate financial results for the group and analyse performance against relevant comparisons (vs. Budget, Prior Year, Forecast)
- Assist and support in preparing the tax return and CITQ
- Conduct research, benchmarking and analysis/ insights of industry and peers
- Take charge of quarterly GST returns on a timely submission and ensure accuracy.
- Identify and develop solutions for finance and tax related issues to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting process and internal controls
- Any other roles and responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields and/or CPA
- 8 years in a financial management reporting role including 3 years in any Big 4 accounting firm and 4 years in a managerial role
- Skilled in Budgeting, Variance Analysis, Group Consolidation, Tax, GST and Group Reporting with excellent PowerPoint and Excel knowledge.
- Familiarity with SAP accounting software and IBM Cognos Controller
- Deep analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
- Ability to work under a tight timeline.

- Highly effective communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
