We are looking for a Research Assistant to develop a rapid and cost-effective genotyping method for early detection of colon cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
The Research Assistant will work on a project on developing a MS-based rapid and cost-effective genotyping method for early detection of colon cancer.
- Primary responsibilities include molecular cloning, cell culture, DNA isolation, developing biochemical assays and chromatography-coupled mass spectrometry analysis.
- Work closely with senior researchers.
- Work with external collaborators.
- Prepare results for publication.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in biochemistry, molecular & cell biology, bioengineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in molecular cloning, cell culture, high-performance liquid chromatography or mass spectrometry are preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
