Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance airfreight operations.
• Collaborate with senior management to align airfreight strategies with overall company objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day airfreight import and export operations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Optimize processes to achieve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead and motivate a small team of airfreight specialists.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their airfreight needs are met.
• Address and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with airlines, customs brokers, and other service providers to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve airfreight performance.
• Monitor and report on E-AWB, FWB/FHL, and operational automation KPIs.
• Facilitate effective communication among air product teams, key accounts, and team members at various organizational levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to formulate and implement a robust pricing strategy.

Requirements:

• Posses good air freight knowledge in export/ import requirement
• Relevant experience in air freight leading a team of 4 to 6.

Job Scope:

• Electrical installation works for commercial buildings etc.
• Installation of light fittings, distribution board, sub-main, power points, lighting points, telephone points & data points
• Help with the laying of cables, trunking, conduits etc.
• Update of electrical drawings. (Single Line Diagram)
• Comply & observe safety management measure, safe work procedures & risk assessment measures
• Assist & support project site operations and ensure timely completion of electrical work activities.
• Able to troubleshoot on electrical faults & trips (MCB, RCD, RCCB etc).
• Knowledge in cable sizing, local electrical codes, and electrical loading.
