Job Description

• Manage work passes which include application, renewal & cancellation
• Handle recruitments, compensation, benefits and implementation
• Handle the implementation and enforcement of HR Policies and procedures
• Prepare letter of employment, appraisal forms & exit interview
• Handle workers accommodation & dormitory issues
• Handle WICA and medical insurance claims
• Insurance Management – Ensure all insurance policies are valid, kept up to date
• Handle workers administration, on & off boarding
• Manage course registration such as coretrade, safety courses and other BCA/MOM requirements trainings for workers and professionals
• Handle & monitor attendance, leave and medical claims
• In charge of Payroll
• Handle e-filing of staff income tax return
• Manage Company asset eg. Biometric, Computers, Software etc.
• General / ad-hoc admin duties as assigned

Job Description:

- Review and redesign organizational hierarchy, considering interdepartmental relationships and internal workflows

- Analyse and update job descriptions for office staff to ensure alignment between procedures and actual practices

- Propose, develop, and implement comprehensive office policies

- Develop metrics to evaluate staff performance

- Create and implement a performance-to-rewards system to identify and recognise high-performing staff

- Address employee grievances promptly and professionally

- Facilitate conflict resolution to maintain a harmonious workplace

- Assess training needs across departments

- Coordinate and implement development programs to enhance employee skills and performance

- Prepare and present reports on HR metrics to senior management, including: Turnover rates, Employee satisfaction levels, Compliance issues

Job Requ

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in the maritime or shipping industry

- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations

- Experience in managing remote teams and implementing remote work policies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office (Suite)
