Responsibilities:

• Develop green marine solutions that reduces marine carbon footprint, in line with company business objectives.
• Hands on in setting up of test lab to enable development and testing.
• Perform PLC software and algorithm development for electrical propulsion solutions.
• Generate documentation of software architecture and logic flow, test procedures, quality control and any other necessary supporting documents.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, designers, programmers, suppliers, and stakeholders, to plan, execute, and deliver engineering projects focused on green marine systems for marine vessels within defined timelines and budgets.

• Together with core technical teams, conduct feasibility studies, evaluate technical requirements, and develop project specifications and scopes of work for green marine system integration projects.

• Coordinate and oversee engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to project plans, standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Together with technical team, review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of green marine system designs and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of green marine system projects.

• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.

• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders.

• Coordinate and track procurement activities for green marine system components.

• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services required for green marine system projects.

• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor installation and integration activities, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications.

• Prepare and deliver project progress reports, presentations, and technical documentation to stakeholders and senior management.

• Manage delivery of documentations, including but not limited to FAT, HAT, SAT, operational and maintenance manuals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer, Marine Superintendent or similar role in the marine, shipbuilding or relevant industry, with a strong track record of successfully delivering engineering projects.

• Knowledge of marine vessels systems, including electric motors, generators, batteries, power management systems, and control systems is an advantage.

• Familiarity with marine vessel propulsion systems, including diesel engines, gas turbines, and electric propulsion technologies.

• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and project management software.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.

• Knowledge of procurement processes and experience in managing supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, execute and close out construction projects (and/ or maintenance construction works) in a safe, timely and sustainable manner including managing nominated subcontractors & vendors;
• Produce long and short term work plan / schedule for assigned task/projects;
• Conduct site investigations and analyse data (reports, tests and drawings);
• Ensure quality of work produced meeting requirements and ensure all pertinent documentations for the job is in order that includes but not limited to method statement & risk assessment, as-built drawings, EQCC, ITP, FIS (field info sheet) compilation of project documents and project closures
• Follow through with job quotations/ BQs, progress claims and issuance /closure of POs for the jobs
• Ensure work carried out safely and comply to all safety requirements
• Handles and resolve technical issues including liaising with subcontractors, vendors, designer and/or consultants
• Coordinate/ communicate with client and own staff (supervisor & logistics supplies) from planning stage till handing over including claims
• Planning of resources for the project (manpower, equipment & materials)
• Progress monitoring and reporting of project status
• Pre-work preparation, e.g. site visit, schedule, MS/RA etc.
• Setting project target and meeting supervisors regularly to share work plan and resource sharing;
• Regular site visit to identify system/ process deficiency and highlight in timely manner
• Recommendation and implementation of operational improvement possibility (including mechanisation, digitalization and other productivity and cost optimisation improvements)
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies that satisfy technical specifications
• Hand over the resulting structures and services for use including follow-up works related to DLP or warranty periods
• Follow through with incident reporting if there are any incidents to their respective sites
• Purchasing of materials that includes raising of MRF and close out of GRN once material received
• Checking on materials delivered to confirm correct materials ordered & delivered
• Attend monthly HSSE Committee meeting and highlight any pertinent issues
• Attend schedule project/ site meetings (internal & external) and highlight any pertinent issues; including producing meeting minutes
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Taking part of tender preparation process including submission of technical submission, project schedule and any other actions required for the tender submissions

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognized by Singapore PE Board.
• Minimum 3-5 years' of relevant site experience work for civil projects.
• Must be technically inclined and possesses excellent problem-solving.
• Be able to work independently as well as acquiring good interpersonal skills to coordinate between the various disciplines and construction teams.
• Candidate can start work in short notice is preferred
• Experience in using Microsoft Project/ Primavera or equivalent is preferred
