Job Description:
- Review and redesign organizational hierarchy, considering interdepartmental relationships and internal workflows
- Analyse and update job descriptions for office staff to ensure alignment between procedures and actual practices
- Propose, develop, and implement comprehensive office policies
- Develop metrics to evaluate staff performance
- Create and implement a performance-to-rewards system to identify and recognise high-performing staff
- Address employee grievances promptly and professionally
- Facilitate conflict resolution to maintain a harmonious workplace
- Assess training needs across departments
- Coordinate and implement development programs to enhance employee skills and performance
- Prepare and present reports on HR metrics to senior management, including: Turnover rates, Employee satisfaction levels, Compliance issues
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in the maritime or shipping industry
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations
- Experience in managing remote teams and implementing remote work policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office (Suite)
