Training & Development Responsibilities:
Identify, design and facilitate organization-wide training programs for all our local business needs. This includes the development of relevant training contents, collaterals and other training materials that will enhance the skills and competencies of our staff using the most appropriate training platforms available.
Develop and maintain interactive learning solutions using e-learning platforms that to enhance the efficiency and efficacy of staff training reconciling their operational requirements and training needs.
Manage and assess the effectiveness of training and development programs to meet our changing business needs and objectives.
Customized programs aimed at improving the executives & managerial staff core business skills and competencies across functional areas.
Identity and adopt new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and training practices available in the market.
Engage and collaborate with government agencies and training institutions for grants or assistance to support our training needs.
Work with Human Resources to ensure new employees receive high-quality orientation and on-boarding experiences.
Manage and develop key training staff in the execution of their training roles/duties.
Sustainability Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and review company ESG framework, goals, strategies, in consultation with senior management and stakeholders.
Establish policies, standards and guidelines pertinent to sustainability that are aligned with company’s long-term sustainability plan of achieving Sg Green Plan.
Work with various departments to incorporate sustainability practices and set the ESG goals.
Keep up to date with trends and industry best practices in sustainability.
Monitor and evaluate ESG events, projects and processes to seek improvements in environmental impact regulation compliance.
Develop and operationalize sustainability reporting, including creating dashboards, data collection, data analysis etc.
Manage and track corporate sustainability goals and metrics, analyze data and produce regular reports, accordance to internationally-recognized ESG reporting standards.
Responsible for sustainability reporting by providing relevant write-ups and data for submission to senior management, parent company and related government agencies.
Create clear, engaging contents on group ESG initiatives, practices and requirements for sharing with company employees, partners, clients and regulatory bodies.
Job Requirement
Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Human Resources, Business or any other related field.
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in training and development capacity, preferably working as a senior position in a medium to large size company.
He/she must be proficient, at least, in the use of Ms Word, Ms Excel, and PowerPoint, all necessary for the creation of visually and verbally engaging training materials and reports for senior training and development management and key stakeholders.
Possesses analytical skills to identify performance improvement opportunities and gaps, conduct analyses, and develop solutions that will deliver the desired results through training programs.
Credentials and training in sustainability and ESG areas would be an advantage
