The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial management and reporting activities of the company, including budget planning, financial analysis, and providing strategic financial advice to support the executive management team in making informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management and Reporting:

• Manage the accounting processes for Singapore operations, including documentation and all related entries, such as posting General Journals.
• Ensure the Trial Balance is accurate and that all ledgers (GL, AR, AP, PA, Assets, Inventories, and Liabilities) are regularly reviewed, updated, and reconciled.
• Prepare and submit monthly management/flash reports, and quarterly reports for Board meetings.
• Coordinate and prepare financial operating budgets, interim financial forecasts, and variance reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Review the Group’s quarterly order book and provide timely and accurate operational results and financial statements to management.
• Review and approve payment and journal vouchers, petty cash claims, and monthly intercompany balance reconciliations.

Financial Analysis and Compliance:

• Assist in formulating and implementing corporate financial policies.
• Collaborate with the Operations department to ensure effective internal controls are in place.
• Prepare cash flow reports and forecasts, and review major active projects within Singapore operations to evaluate valuation accuracy and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Ensure positive cash flow by coordinating collections and working with Purchasing and Project Managers to establish reasonable vendor terms.
• Ensure compliance with all tax, licensing, and statutory obligations, including the preparation and filing of quarterly GST returns and other statutory filings such as ACRA and XBRL.

Stakeholder Management:

• Liaise with bankers to manage bank resolutions, banker’s guarantees, etc.
• Maintain up-to-date finance and audit schedules and work closely with auditors and tax agents to provide necessary documentation for annual financial audits.
• Supervise and support the Associate Accountant and finance team to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all accounts.

Ad-hoc Responsibilities:

• Complete various surveys for the Department of Statistics, BCA, and other regulatory bodies.
• Assist the CFO with Board matters, such as resolutions for guarantees, ad-hoc reports, and investment activities, including due diligence, feasibility studies, legal reviews, M&A, and JV assessments.
• Oversee the Accpac accounting system, troubleshoot any issues, and provide support to the organization
• Provide support to other associated operational units (e.g., Asophir / OSCG accounts).
• Assist the CFO with additional financial and investment-related tasks as needed.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in managing financial budgets across multiple projects.
• Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Expertise in statutory compliance and internal controls.

Smart Infrastructure Buildings is actively seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with expertise in Building Automation/BMS, Enterprise Security, and Fire Systems. This role involves leading projects in the ASEAN region, ensuring top-tier quality standards during commissioning and critical implementation.

You’ll make a difference by:

• Project Review and Coordination: Thoroughly review project specifications, drawings, and documents to establish project intent and coordinate with the project team.
• Schedule Development and Management: Develop and maintain a project schedule, identifying time-sensitive installation needs and tracking resources and project progress.
• Supply and Material Management: Manage the requisition of supplies and materials necessary for project completion.
• Cost Review and Subcontractor Management: Review plans and specifications, participate in project cost reviews, and oversee the shortlisting and contracting of subcontractors.
• Orientation and Documentation: Conduct project orientations for technicians, providing all necessary documentation, including scope of work, drawings, and specifications.
• Change-Order and Billing Coordination: Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities, coordinate project-specific billing with the Commercial team.
• Commissioning, Close-out, and Project Management: Schedule project-specific commissioning resources, manage the project and its profitability (P/L), guide engineers, and ensure completion of project-specific close-out documentation. Demonstrate strength in contract management and change management.
• Quality Assurance and EHS Responsibility: Take responsibility for the Quality Assurance (QA) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) aspects of the project.

Your defining qualities:

• Interest in Emerging Technologies: Displays a keen interest in emerging technologies to support digital growth within the industry.
• Risk Forecasting and Communication Skills: Strong acumen to understand situations and forecast potential risks in advance. Proficient in any Project software tool. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Digital Engineering Knowledge: Familiarity with Digital Engineering processes, management of the Common Data Environment, Data Standards, and the ability to comprehend IT network topology are additional assets.
• Organizational Skills and Attitude: Demonstrates organizational skills, attention to detail, and quality reporting. Adaptable with a positive "can-do" attitude.
• Industry Experience: Project experience in diverse sectors such as Data Centres, Pharma, Hospitals, Lab/GMP facilities, and Infrastructure projects are advantageous.
• Entrepreneurial orientation: Being responsible for projects encompassing both technical and financial dimensions.
• Fire System: Comprehend fire addressable systems, fireman intercom, HSSD, flooding system standard and NFPA requirements
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and comprehend MEP drawings, specifications, and electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams. Familiarity with industry-standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnet.
• Project contract management: Familiar with Public Sector Standard Conditions Of Contract and Security Of Payment Act.
• Project Management Experience: Possess a minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in Building Automation/BMS, or Fire System, or a combination thereof.
• Educational Background and Certification: Minimum Associate degree required; a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred. PMP certification is mandatory, while PRINCE2 or ACP would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve individual financial and non-financial goals by acquiring, growing, and retaining profitable Medium Enterprise customers, while staying within acceptable risk parameters.
• Contribute to the team’s overall objectives and drive optimal portfolio performance.
• Collaborate effectively with Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts, Team Managers, Segment Heads, as well as colleagues in CDD teams, and partners in Risk, Compliance, and other support functions
• Marketing and selling a wide range of products, including Trade Services, Lending, Cash Management, and Wealth Management.
• Preparing credit proposals and loan applications for clients, ensuring timely annual reviews.

Requirements:

• University graduate
• 5+ years of relevant experience serving business, commercial, and corporate clients.
• Strong product knowledge in trade, cash management, lending, and foreign exchange, coupled with a deep understanding of local industries, supply/value chains, and market environments.
• In-depth knowledge of operational procedures, documentation requirements, and banking practices and regulations related to commercial banking.
• Strong adherence to business guidelines and compliance standards.
• Sound understanding of financial markets and investment products.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
